Distributed Resource definition

Distributed Resource has the meaning given to the term in California Public Utilities Code Section 769.
Distributed Resource or “DR” means sources of real electric power that are not directly connected to the bulk power transmission system, including both generation and energy storage technology.
Distributed Resource means a facility that is defined as a Distributed Resource in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (“IEEE”) Standard 1547 for Interconnecting Distributed Resources with Electric Power Systems.

  • Member shall further replace such certificates for policies expiring during the period its Distributed Resource is interconnected with Cooperative’s system.

  • Prior to interconnection of the Distributed Resource with Cooperative’s system, Member shall furnish a properly executed certificate of insurance to Cooperative clearly evidencing the required coverage and any exclusions applicable to such coverage.

  • The Delivery Point will be (i) for each Distributed Resource composing the Project that is located behind a Customer’s retail meter, the load meter(s) for such Distributed Resource, and (ii) for each Distributed Resource composing the Project that is not located behind a Customer’s retail meter, the point of interconnection for such Distributed Resource to the CAISO Grid, and in each case (i) and (ii), as depicted in Appendix III.

  • Upon the acceptance hereof by Cooperative, evidenced by the signature of its authorized representative appearing below, this document shall be an Agreement for the interconnection of Member’s Distributed Resource to Cooperative’s Electric System.

  • The duly authorized agents of Cooperative shall have the right of ingress and egress to the premises of Member at all reasonable hours, over the same general route as Member utilizes, for the purpose of reading meters, inspecting Cooperative’s wiring and apparatus, changing, exchanging, or repairing its property on the premises of Member and to remove such property at the time of or at any time after the suspension of interconnection of the Distributed Resource or termination of this Agreement.

  • Member shall reimburse Cooperative for any and all losses, damages, claims, penalties or liability Cooperative incurs as a result of Member’s failure to maintain the Distributed Resource, equipment, and facilities in a safe and prudent manner or failure to obtain and/or maintain any governmental authorizations or permits required for construction and operation of Member’s facility.

  • Member shall maintain Member’s Distributed Resource and all related Member-owned protective equipment and facilities in a safe and prudent manner, conforming to all applicable laws and regulations.

  • By signing this Agreement below, Member hereby certifies that, to the best of Member’s knowledge, all of the information provided in the Application To Interconnect Distributed Resource Less than 2 MVA is true and correct, the Distributed Resource will comply with the Interconnection Standard, and that Member has received and reviewed this Agreement.

  • Member shall obtain all environmental and other permits required by governmental authorities prior to construction, installation, and interconnection of the Distributed Resource.

  • The cost to Member for all Cooperative owned and maintained facilities constructed and/or installed by Cooperative to accommodate the interconnection and safe operation of Member’s Distributed Resource in parallel with Cooperative’s Electric System shall be determined in accordance with Cooperative’s applicable Service Regulations and/or Terms and Conditions.

  • Distributed Generation means generating plant equipment collectively used for generating electricity that is connected, or proposed to be connected, to the Network or a Customer's Installation, but does not include:

  • Distributed Generator means a person who owns or operates Distributed Generation;

  • Integrated resource plan means a plan which contains the demand and energy forecast for at least a fifteen-year period, contains the supplier's or producer's program for meeting the requirements shown in its forecast in an economic and reliable manner, including both demand-side and supply-side options, with a brief description and summary cost-benefit analysis, if available, of each option which was considered, including those not selected, sets forth the supplier's or producer's assumptions and conclusions with respect to the effect of the plan on the cost and reliability of energy service, and describes the external environmental and economic consequences of the plan to the extent practicable. For electrical utilities subject to the jurisdiction of the South Carolina Public Service Commission, this definition must be interpreted in a manner consistent with the integrated resource planning requirements pursuant to Section 58‑37‑40 and any process adopted by the commission. For electric cooperatives subject to the regulations of the Rural Electrification Administration, this definition must be interpreted in a manner consistent with any integrated resource planning process prescribed by Rural Electrification Administration regulations.

  • Distributor / Distribution Company means Company(ies), Firm(s), Sole Proprietorship concern(s), individual(s), Banks or any other Financial Institution appointed by the Management Company under intimation to the Trustee for performing any or all of the Distribution Functions and who are registered with MUFAP as Registered Service Providers. The Management Company may itself also performs the Distribution Function.

  • STP means the temperature of fifteen degrees Celsius (15°C) and at a pressure of one hundred and one decimal three two five kilopascals (101.325 kPa).

  • economic resources means assets of every kind, whether tangible or intangible, movable or immovable, which are not funds, but may be used to obtain funds, goods or services;

  • distribution system operator means a natural or legal person responsible for operating, ensuring the maintenance of and, if necessary, developing the distribution system in a given area and, where applicable, its interconnections with other systems and for ensuring the long-term ability of the system to meet reasonable demands for the distribution of electricity;

  • Net Energy The total quantity of electric energy (measured in kilowatt hours) produced by the Facility over a given time period and delivered to the Point of Interconnection, as measured by the revenue meter. "Net Energy" the equivalent of "Actual Output."

  • Distribution Company means a distribution company as defined in Section 1 of Chapter 164 of the Massachusetts General Laws.3
