Dismissal definition

Dismissal means the denial of the current educational program to any student, including exclusion, expulsion and suspension. Dismissal does not include removal from class.
Dismissal means complete, involuntary severance from classes by the school authorities for scholastic or disciplinary reasons for the balance of the academic year.
