Direct impact definition

Direct impact means the impact of products that actually consume energy during use;

Direct impact means (a) the conduct of any of the following activities within any portion of the Avoidance Area: construction activities (including staging, equipment use, and storage), grading, vegetation removal, dewatering, material deposition, or ground disturbance, and (b) any direct and observable physical disturbance to the Avoidance Area caused by activities within or immediately adjacent to the Avoidance Area. This definition is not intended to reflect a position by any Party on the meaning of the term “direct impact” under CEQA.
