Diocesan Bishop definition

Diocesan Bishop means the Bishop of the Diocese (as defined in Canon Law) and in the case of the See being vacant or impeded, the person or persons on whom the governance of the See has devolved in accordance with Canon Law and, for the purposes of any action contemplated in these Articles includes any person or office exercising ordinary jurisdiction in his name and any person to whom the Diocesan Bishop’s powers and functions have been delegated, including officers of the Diocesan Education Service;
