Development organization means any economic development corporation, downtown development authority, tax increment financing authority, or an organization under the supervision of and created for economic development purposes by a local governmental unit.

Development organization means a corporation, limited partnership, limited liability company, or pension or investment fund that has an interest in agricultural land for which the corporation, limited partnership, limited liability company, or pension or investment fund has documented plans to use and subsequently uses the land within six years from the date of purchase for a specific nonfarming purpose, or if the land is zoned nonagricultural, or if the land is located within an incorporated area.
