Design Standards and Specifications definition

Design Standards and Specifications means the design standards and specifications approved for the HTP as contemplated in the PDA, which design standards and specifications shall be (i) developed in conformance with Amtrak’s engineering standards for design and construction, (ii) leverage best available information including industry standards such as AREMA standards and FRA standards, (iii) to the extent practicable, meet or exceed local building and fire codes, and
Design Standards and Specifications means the design standards and specifications approved for the HTP as contemplated in Article XII, which design standards and specifications shall be (i) developed in conformance with Amtrak’s engineering standards for design and construction, (ii) leverage best available information including industry standards such as AREMA standards and FRA standards, (iii) to the extent practicable, meet or exceed local building and fire codes, and (iv) be submitted to the TSC for approval. No other standards shall be considered.

Examples of Design Standards and Specifications in a sentence

  • All work in the City right of way will require a permit prior to any work being started and will require a traffic plan that is fully compliant with the City of Bend Design Standards and Specifications.

Related to Design Standards and Specifications

  • Standard Specifications means a compilation in book form of specifica- tions approved for general application and repetitive use;

  • Plans and Specifications means the plans, drawings and specifications reasonably necessary to properly assess and review proposed Work prior to issuance of any approval that may be required under this Agreement;

  • Technical Specifications means the detailed requirements for the Work furnished by the Architect and set forth in Book 3 of the Contract Documents.

  • The Specification means the Specification annexed to or issued with G.T.C.C. and shall include the schedules & drawings attached thereto as well as all samples and pattern, if any.

  • Specifications means the Specifications of the Works included in the Contract and any modification or addition made or approved by the Project Manager.

  • Service Specifications means the following documents, as applicable to the Services under Your order:

  • Project Schedule means a document that, with respect to each Phase of the Project, identifies, coordinates and integrates the anticipated design and construction schedules, the Contracting Authority’s and Owner's responsibilities, government authority reviews and other activities as are necessary for the timely completion of the Work.

  • Service Specification means and include detailed description, statements to technical data, performance characteristics, and standards (Indian as well as) as applicable and as specified in the Contract as well as those specifications relating to Industry standards and codes applicable to the performance of the work, work performance quality and the specifications affecting the works or any additional specification required to be produced by the DCO to meet the design criteria.

  • Design-build means a project delivery method in which the detailed design and subsequent construction is provided through a single contract with a Design-Build firm; a team, partnership, or legal entity that includes design professionals and a builder. The Design-Build Project delivery shall be implemented in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code § 2166.2531.2
