Design Issue definition

Design Issue means any matter arising under, with respect to or in connection with, the Contract Documents, and, in particular, the drawings and specifications, which requires clarification in order to complete the Work.
Design Issue means a change in any law, Change in Standards, or change in any applicable regulatory requirement or requirement of the Network Licence which Network Rail reasonably considers will necessitate a variation of Network Rail’s Services or the design by the Customer in order to achieve the relevant Work Product design approval(s);

Examples of Design Issue in a sentence

  • If Project Co does discover any Design Issue in the Contract Documents, Project Co shall not proceed with the Work affected until Project Co has first complied with the provisions of Section 11.18.

  • If either the Owner or the Contractor is of the view that the Design Issue is not properly characterized by the Consultant either the Owner or the Contractor may dispute the characterization of the Design Issue pursuant to GC 4.2.7. The Consultant's response will be provided in accordance with GC 2.2.9. Any professional design services of the Consultant to issue the Supplemental Instruction will be an Owner cost.

  • If either the Owner or the Contractor is of the view that the Design Issue is not properly characterized by the Consultant either the Owner or the Contractor may dispute the characterization of the Design Issue pursuant to GC 4.2.7. The Consultant's response to any Design Issue will be provided in accordance with GC 2.2.9. Any professional design services of the Consultant to issue the Supplemental Instruction or Change Directive will be an Owner cost.

Related to Design Issue

  • Design flow means the average annual flow or average daily flow specified in an approved facilities plan or approved plans and specifications, the flow specified in a WPDES permit, or the flow required to meet performance standards.

  • Design means the appearance of the whole or a part of a product resulting from the features of, in particular, the lines, contours, colours, shape, texture and/or materials of the product itself and/or its ornamentation;

  • Design Documentation means all schematics and test, assembly and package documentation relating to the Product, including all design, specification and assembly documentation and data files for Materials, which is necessary for the production, manufacture, qualification, testing and delivery of the Product to be attached as Exhibit A.

  • Design torso angle means the angle measures between a vertical line through the "R" point and the torso line in a position which corresponds to the design position of the seat-back established by the vehicle manufacturer;

  • Design Criteria Package means concise, performance-oriented drawings or specifications for a public construction project. The purpose of the Design Criteria Package is to furnish sufficient information to permit Design-Build Firms to prepare a bid or a response to the District’s Request for Proposals, or to permit the District to enter into a negotiated Design- Build Contract. The Design Criteria Package must specify performance- based criteria for the public construction project, including the legal description of the site, survey information concerning the site, interior space requirements, material quality standards, schematic layouts and conceptual design criteria of the project, cost or budget estimates, design and construction schedules, site development requirements, provisions for utilities, stormwater retention and disposal, and parking requirements applicable to the project. Design Criteria Packages shall require firms to submit information regarding the qualifications, availability, and past work of the firms, including the partners and members thereof.

  • Construction Drawings means those drawings containing the technical details associated with the design, construction and installation of the Infrastructure;

  • Design Criteria means the design criteria set out in the Ministry’s publication “Design Criteria for Sanitary Sewers, Storm Sewers and Forcemains for Alterations Authorized under Environmental Compliance Approval”, (as amended from time to time).

  • Design engineer means a person professionally qualified and duly licensed in New Jersey to perform engineering services that may include, but not necessarily be limited to, development of project requirements, creation and development of project design and preparation of drawings and specifications.

  • Technical Bid means the bid submitted online through the electronic bidding platform, containing the documents as listed out in Clause 2.5.2 of this RFP;

  • Patent Application means an application for patent protection for a CRADA Subject Invention with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“U.S.P.T.O.”) or the corresponding patent-issuing authority of another nation.

  • Project Architect means the architect retained by Lessee to design and supervise construction of the Improvements.

  • Design Manual means the MOHLTC design manual or manuals in effect and applicable to the development, upgrade, retrofit, renovation or redevelopment of the Home or Beds subject to this Agreement.

  • Design-build means a project delivery method in which the detailed design and subsequent construction is provided through a single contract with a Design-Build firm; a team, partnership, or legal entity that includes design professionals and a builder. The Design-Build Project delivery shall be implemented in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code § 2166.2531.2

  • Contract Drawings means only those drawings specifically entitled as such and listed in the Specifications or in any Addendum, or any drawings furnished by the Commissioner, pertaining or supplemental thereto.

  • Design-Build Firm means a partnership, corporation or other legal entity that:

  • Design-Builder means the Person selected pursuant to the RFP that enters into the Contract with the Department to design and construct the Project (also referred to as the “Design-Build Team”).
