Design and Quality Standards definition

Design and Quality Standards means standards as required by the HCA or its successor body
Design and Quality Standards means in respect of each Firm Scheme the standards offered by the Grant Recipient and accepted by the Agency through IMS which are additional to the requirements of the Design and Quality Standards; Adjustment has the meaning given to it in Condition 5.8. A worked example of the calculation referred to in Condition 5.8 is included at Annex 2 for illustrative purposes only;
Design and Quality Standards means the standards set out in The London Plan and the Mayor of London's Housing Supplementary Planning Guidance published in March 2016 (insofar as they relate to persons who fall within the Agreed Client Group) as may be updated from time to time by the GLA; Design and Supporting Statement means the statement of that name submitted by the Grant Recipient in relation to the Approved Bid;

Examples of Design and Quality Standards in a sentence

  • Deliver a minimum 5% of all new affordable dwellings as wheelchair-user housing as set out within the Housing Corporations Design and Quality Standards (April 2007).

  • Works necessary for the scheme to comply with Design and Quality Standards must not exceed £1,500.

  • In addition to the principles set out above, any publicly funded housing, usually the Homes and Communities Agency or Local Authority, must be completed to the Homes and Communities Agency Design and Quality Standards or other appropriate standards applicable at the time.

More Definitions of Design and Quality Standards

Design and Quality Standards means the essential standards set out in the Housing Corporation publication “Design and quality standards” (or any such other document amending, consolidating or replacing it)
Design and Quality Standards means the standards set out in the Corporation's publication entitled "Design and Quality Standards April 2007" as they apply to accommodation of the type comprised in the relevant Firm Scheme; Design Statement means the statement of that name submitted by the Grant Recipient in relation to the Approved Bid; Development Costs means the costs relating to Site acquisition and Works in relation to a Firm Scheme incurred or to be incurred in respect of such Firm Scheme by the Grant Recipient in respect of the heads of expenditure set out in Part 1 to Schedule 4 or such other heads of expenditure as the Agency may in its absolute discretion agree in respect of any Firm Scheme provided that any costs falling within the heads of expenditure set out in Part 2 to Schedule 4 shall not be capable of being treated as Development Costs; Disposal means a transaction the effect of which is that the legal or beneficial title in any CSSH Dwelling transfers to becomes vested in is leased to or reverts to another person; DPA means the Data Protection Act 1998; DPF means the Disposal Proceeds Fund maintained by the Grant Recipient in accordance with the requirements of Section 177 of the HRA 2008; EIR means the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, together with any guidance and/or codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner in relation to such statutory instrument;
Design and Quality Standards means the standards set out in The London Plan and the Mayor of London's Housing Supplementary Planning Guidance published in August 2017 (insofar as they relate to persons who fall within the Agreed Client Group) as may be updated from time to time by the GLA; Design and Supporting Statement means the statement of that name submitted by the Grant Recipient in relation to the Approved Bid; Guidance means any applicable guidance standards codes of conduct or directions with which a Registered Provider is from time to time required or expected to comply by the GLA, the Regulator, or the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government in relation to Hostels or the HCP Dwellings; HCP Dwelling means the Hostel (including, as the context requires, any dwellings comprised within it) developed, refurbished, remodelled or improved (as applicable) with the benefit of Fund Proceeds and/or grant funding payable under this Agreement as more particularly described in the relevant Named Project Details; HCP Housing means subsidised housing accommodation provided by the Grant Recipient pursuant to this Agreement that will be made permanently available at a London Affordable Rent; Homeless has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 175 of the Housing Xxx 0000; Hostel means a building comprising accommodation for two or more households (whether self-contained or not and whether or not inclusive of communal living space or facilities for the preparation or provision of food) and which is not (at the point at which any First Tranche Grant is paid) intended to be used as permanent accommodation for such households; Local Housing Allowance means an allowance determined in accordance with paragraph 2 of Schedule 3B to the Rent Officers (Housing Benefit Functions) Order 1997, or paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 to the Rent Officers (Universal Credit Functions) Order 2013, as appropriate; Short Lease means a lease of less than seven years duration made between the Grant Recipient and a third party; Statutory Homeless means a person of the type described in Section 193(1) of the Housing Xxx 0000;
Design and Quality Standards means the standards set out in the Corporation's publication entitled "Design and Quality Standards April 2007";
Design and Quality Standards means the requirements and recommendations for all new homes as defined by the Homes and Communities Agency 'design and quality standards April 2007'.
