DER Unit definition

DER Unit means the generating facility or storage facility owned and/or operated by the Provider with a single Connection Agreement to the SPN Network, that is capable of providing one or more of the Power Potential Services, as described in Schedule 4 (DER Unit Information);
DER Unit. 1: A fully compliant DER that does not require supplemental DER devices to meet the IEEE 1547 requirements.

Examples of DER Unit in a sentence

  • A DER Unit must complete the Active Power Service elements of the Mandatory Technical Trial before the Provider can offer Active Power Response in any Power Potential Tender.

  • Every hour that a DER Unit is available will contribute towards its Participation Payments.

  • In any month where a Provider has already received payments in respect of a DER Unit, additional payments will only be made to reflect the additional hours the DER Unit was made available but have not yet been remunerated for.

  • NAV per Unit means the NAV of the Company divided by the number of Units then outstanding.
