Deputy Lord Mayor definition

Deputy Lord Mayor means the Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Melbourne and includes any elected member of the Council acting as Deputy Lord Mayor.
Deputy Lord Mayor means a Member of Council who is appointed to act from time to time in the place of the Lord Mayor when the Lord Mayor is absent from the Town or absent through illness, or otherwise, or when the office is vacant, and while so acting, such Member has and may exercise all of the rights, powers and authority of Head of Council.
Deputy Lord Mayor means the Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Melbourne;

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Billboard Sign means an outdoor sign that advertises goods, products, or services that are not sold or offered on the property where the sign is located, and is either single faced or double faced;

  • Professional land surveyor means a professional land surveyor licensed under ch. 443.

  • Playground means a public outdoor recreation area for children, usually equipped with swings, slides, and other playground equipment, owned and/or managed by a city, county, state, or federal government.

  • Warden means the Warden In-charge of Hall of Residence VIII and includes other Wardens of the said Hall.

  • Green building strategies means those strategies that minimize the impact of development on the environment, and enhance the health, safety and well-being of residents by producing durable, low-maintenance, resource-efficient housing while making optimum use of existing infrastructure and community services.

  • Hood means a respiratory inlet covering that completely covers the head and neck and may also cover portions of the shoulders and torso.

  • Amenity Manager – shall mean the District Manager or that person or firm so designated by the District’s Board of Supervisors, including their employees.

  • townsite in relation to the townsite to be established near the harbour means a townsite (whether or not constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act) primarily to facilitate the Company’s operations in and near the harbour and for employees of the Company and in relation to the mining areas means such a townsite or townsites or any other townsite or townsites which is or are established by the Company for the purposes of its operations and employees on or near the mining areas in lieu of a townsite constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act;

  • apartment building means a residential use building, or the residential use portion of a mixed-use building, other than a townhouse or stacked townhouse containing four or more dwelling units each of which shall have access to above grade common halls, stairs, elevators, and yards;

  • Architectural Review Committee or “ARC” shall mean the architectural review committee established by the Organization to review plans submitted to the Organization for architectural review.
