Deputy Information Officer definition

Deputy Information Officer means the person to whom any power or duty conferred or imposed on an Information Officer in terms of POPIA has been delegated;

Deputy Information Officer means an individual employed by a public body to assist the Information Officer to process PAIA requests;

Deputy Information Officer means the designated individual in the public or private body who is responsible for assisting the Information Officer with the PAIA Request;

• The requester must complete the prescribed form enclosed herewith, and submit same as well as payment of a request fee and a deposit (if applicable) to the Information Officer or the Deputy Information Officer at the postal or physical address, fax number or electronic mail address as noted in clause 5 above.

• The Deputy Information Officer will assist the Information Officer in performing his or her duties.

• Records that are indicated as “Freely Available” can be accessed by contacting the Deputy Information Officer (see Annexure A), without having to follow any formal procedures.

More Definitions of Deputy Information Officer

Deputy Information Officer means the Business’s appointed personnel as referred to in clause 5 (if any);
