Dependent Child or Dependent Children definition

Dependent Child or Dependent Children means an individual defined in Section 2.4.
Dependent Child or Dependent Children means an eligible individual who is the child of the Subscriber or the Subscriber’s Spouse as defined in Section 2.3.
Dependent Child or Dependent Children means an individual defined in Section 2.4. Diabetic Supply or Diabetic Supplies means all Medically Necessary and appropriate supplies prescribed by a health care provider for the treatment of diabetes, including but not limited to lancets, alcohol wipes, test strips (blood and urine), syringes and needles.

Dependent Child or Dependent Children means a child or children, or stepchild or stepchildren of, or an individual adopted either legally or in fact by, a DB Member who at the time of the DB Member’s death was dependent on the DB Member for support, and who

  • Dependent Care Expenses means employment-related expenses incurred on behalf of a person who meets the requirements to be a "Qualifying Individual," as defined in the first bulleted item below. All of the following conditions must be met for such expenses to qualify as Dependent Care Expenses that are eligible for reimbursement:

  • Water-dependent use means a use or portion of a use which cannot exist in a location that is not adjacent to the water and which is dependent on the water by reason of the intrinsic nature of its operations.

  • Immediate Family Members means, with respect to any individual, such individual’s child, stepchild, grandchild or more remote descendant, parent, stepparent, grandparent, spouse, former spouse, qualified domestic partner, sibling, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law and daughter-in-law (including adoptive relationships) and any trust, partnership or other bona fide estate-planning vehicle the only beneficiaries of which are any of the foregoing individuals or any private foundation or fund that is controlled by any of the foregoing individuals or any donor-advised fund of which any such individual is the donor.

  • Dependent person means a person who cannot demonstrate financial independence from parents or persons other than a spouse and who does not meet the criteria for independence established in Section 5 of this administrative regulation.

  • Fringe benefit means health insurance, a retirement benefit received under a pension plan or defined contribution plan, a paid vacation day, a paid holiday, sick leave, or any other similar employee benefit provided by an employer.

  • Immediate family means a spouse and any unemancipated child.
