Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account definition

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account means the account established for a Participant pursuant to this Article to which part of his Cafeteria Plan Benefit Dollars may be allocated and from which Employment-Related Dependent Care Expenses of the Participant may be reimbursed for the care of the Qualifying Dependents of Participants.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account means an Account established for a Participant under the Plan for reimbursement of the Participant’s Dependent Care Expenses.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account means the accounting record maintained under the Plan for each electing Participant directing amounts to such an account for reimbursement of Dependent Care Expenses.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account. Xxxxxxx State University recognizes that many employees in today’s workforce are faced with child or eldercare expenses due to the employment of one or both parents. To assist with these expenses, the University provides an opportunity for employees to participate in the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account. This account allows employees to pay for dependent care expenses (i.e. daycare and eldercare) with before-tax dollars. NOTE: Limited-Purpose Flexible Spending Account (LPFSA): Under the BOR Health Plan’s Consumer Choice Option, employees in conjunction with their Health Savings Account (HSA) elect to enroll in a Limited-Purpose FSA. A limited-purpose health flexible spending account (referred to as a limited-purpose FSA) is much like a typical, general-purpose health FSA. However, under a limited-purpose FSA, eligible expenses are limited to qualifying dental and vision expenses for you, your spouse, and your eligible dependents.
