Department's Representative definition

Department's Representative means Xxxxx Xxxx or such substitute as may be appointed by the Secretary of State for the time being pursuant to Clause 22.3 [Change of Representatives].

  • If the alignment and flow directions of the sewers are to be changed according to the site conditions and the Departments representative agrees to that, the Contractor has to redo the alignment and level survey at every 30 m and junction points, and submit all the details in latest version of Auto Cad & GIS in soft form to Departments Representative, for re-design of that particular stretch and take up the work on receipt of approved designs from Departments Representative.

  • After all systems and equipment have been tested and commissioned to the satisfaction of the Department, a detailed demonstration of all functions of the system shall be carried out in the presence of the Department's Representative, so as to allow him to become fully acquainted with the operation of the system.

  • Department Representative means the Manager, Engineering Operations, or designate, who shall represent the Landscape Operations Section for the purposes of this Agreement, or such other person who may be subsequently appointed in writing by the Department Representative and so notified to the Contractor;

It shall include any other official nominated to attend to the supervision of day to day execution of the work to which this CONTRACT relates.
