Departmental Committee definition

Departmental Committee means committee constituted for the University Schools, University Departments, Conducted Colleges and University Institutions under these statutes;
Departmental Committee means the Committee constituted under these Regulations;
Departmental Committee or “DC” means each of the Recipient’s Departmental Committee (Comité Départemental) to be established by the Recipient composed, inter alia, of MINEDUB regional delegate and the primary education inspector, in charge of approving Subprojects (as hereinafter defined).

Examples of Departmental Committee in a sentence

  • The Department Chair shall be appointed by means of the provisions set out in Article 27.03 (Duties of Department Chairs and Centre Directors), and shall be an ex- officio member of the Departmental Committee with full voting rights.

  • The TSAS Director shall not be a member of the Departmental Committee.

  • The structure of the Departmental Safety Committees and the frequency of meeting shall be determined by mutual agreement within each Departmental Committee.

  • The Departmental Committee shall determine whether a Faculty Member, who is being considered for tenure, has also attained the standards of a tenured Associate Professor, and, if so, the Committee shall recommend that the Faculty Member be granted tenure and be promoted to Associate Professor.

  • The Chair of the Departmental Committee shall retain the ballots until the application has been granted or denied and all appeals have been determined.

  • The Chair of the Department is the Chair of the Departmental Committee unless she or he is unable to serve as the Chair in which case the Committee shall select another member of the Committee as its Chair.
