Examples of Defense Expenses in a sentence
The Insured shall not admit or assume any liability, incur any Defense Expenses, offer to settle any matter, enter into any settlement agreement or stipulate to any judgment without the Insurer’s prior written consent, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld.
The Insurer will pay on behalf of the Insured the Defense Expenses incurred by the Insured arising from any Claim covered under Insuring Agreements A.
Except as respects the coverage provided under Insuring Agreement C., this Policy shall specifically be excess of any other valid and collectible insurance pursuant to which any other insurer has a duty to defend a Claim for which this Policy may be obligated to pay Damages or Defense Expenses.
Defense Expenses are not part of, and are in addition to, the amount shown in Item 4(a) of the Declarations.
