Defective Work definition

Defective Work means (a) Work that is unsatisfactory, deficient or damaged, does not conform to the Contract Documents, or does not meet the requirements of any inspection, test or approval, or (b) Work associated with punch list items that the Contractor fails to complete within a reasonable time after issuance of the punch list by the Project Manager.
Defective Work means any work or portion thereof which is defective or otherwise does not conform to the requirements of the Contract Documents.
Defective Work means Work that fails to conform to the Contract Documents’ requirements.

  • Under emergency conditions, the Contractor shall immediately correct the Defective Work.

  • If required by the County or County’s Representative, Design-Build Firm shall, as directed, either correct all Defective Work, whether or not fabricated, installed or completed, or if the Defective Work has been rejected by the County or County’s Representative, remove it from the Site and replace it with conforming Work.

  • Neither the acceptance of the Work nor payment by County shall be deemed to be a waiver of County's right to enforce any obligations of Design-Build Firm hereunder or to the recovery of damages for Defective Work not discovered by the County’s Representative or County at the time of final inspection.

  • Immediately correct any Defective Work or notify the OAR why the Work is not to be corrected immediately and when corrective action will be completed.

  • Defective Work is usually identified in a Notice of Non-Compliant Work.

Defective Work means construction done under this Agreement that is unsatisfactory, faulty, omitted, incomplete, deficient, or does not conform to the requirements of the Contract Documents, directives of Owner's Representative, or the requirements of an inspection, reference standard, test, or approval specified in the Contract Documents.
Defective Work means work which is unsatisfactory, faulty or deficient, or not in conformity with the Contract Documents. It shall also include work damaged prior to approval of final payment unless responsibility for such damage shall have been expressly assumed by the City at Substantial Completion.
