Defect definition

Defect means any part of the Works not completed in accordance with the Contract.
Defect means any part of the Supply (or omission therefrom) which is defective, deficient or incomplete or does not otherwise comply with the requirements of this Agreement;
Defect. As defined in Section 2.02(f).

Examples of Defect in a sentence

  • If you operate the Tyler Software in a production environment without Priority Level 1 Defect for sixty (60) calendar days from the date the Tyler Software is moved to a production environment, then “Final Acceptance” will be issued.

  • The Contractor shall then promptly make good the Defect and ensure thattherejecteditemcomplieswiththerequirementsof thisAgreement.

  • If the Tyler Software does not perform as warranted, we will use all reasonable efforts, consistent with industry standards, to cure the Defect as set forth in the Maintenance and Support Agreement.

  • If you determine that there is a Priority Level 1 Defect, you will deliver a written report to us of the Defect(s).

  • If any Priority Level 1 Defect is resolved within the last fifteen (15) days of the Final Acceptance period, then you may continue acceptance testing in a production environment for an additional fifteen (15) days, beginning on the 61st day of Final Acceptance testing.


More Definitions of Defect

Defect means a failure of the Tyler Software to substantially conform to the functional descriptions set forth in our written proposal to you, or their functional equivalent. Future functionality may be updated, modified, or otherwise enhanced through our maintenance and support services, and the governing functional descriptions for such future functionality will be set forth in our then-current Documentation.
Defect means any failure of any portion of the Work to conform to and perform in accordance with the requirements of this Agreement and all applicable Specifications and Documentation.
Defect means any fault, imperfection or shortcoming in the quality, quantity, potency, purity or standard which is required to be maintained by or under any law for the time being in force under any contract, express or implied or as is claimed by the trader in any manner whatsoever in relation to any goods;
