Day Shifts definition

Day Shifts means those shifts commencing at or after 6.00 am.

Examples of Day Shifts in a sentence

  • Shifts shall be grouped into the following classifications for signing and shall include swings: 6.02.01.01 Day Shifts - Straight shifts ending up to and including 15:00 hours.

Related to Day Shifts

  • Day Shift means a shift which commences at or after 6.00 am and before 10.00 am.

  • Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00pm and at or before midnight.

  • Rostered Shift means any shift of which the employee concerned has had at least 48 hours notice.

  • Workweek means any week during which a Class Member worked for Defendant for at least one day, during the Class Period.

  • Week means seven consecutive days.

  • Working Day means a day (other than a Saturday or Sunday) on which banks are open for general business in the City of London.

  • Hour means an hour of sixty minutes. For the purpose of hire and / or penalty charges, fraction of an hour up to 30 (thirty) minutes will not be taken into account and more than 30 (thirty) minutes will be treated as one full hour.

  • Day/Days means calendar days, inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

  • Working Days means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales; and

  • Day-Ahead has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Weekday means Monday – Friday.

  • Clock hours means the actual number of hours or time a participant spends attending the instructional portion of a training designed to develop or enhance early care and education or school–age care competencies.

  • Work week means a seven (7) consecutive day week that consistently begins and ends on the same days throughout the year; i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Wednesday through Tuesday, Friday through Thursday.

  • Rostered Day Off means any day (other than a "Non-working Day" as defined) upon which an employee is not rostered to work any ordinary hours of work: provided that an employee's rostered day off shall be a period of twenty-four hours commencing from the completion of an ordinary-hours work period. 7. - CONTRACT OF SERVICE (1) Subject to sub-clauses (7) and (8) of this clause, an employer must not terminate an employee's employment unless:

  • General Business Day means a day on which commercial banks are open for general business (including dealings in foreign exchange and foreign currency deposits).

  • Family day system means any person who approves family day homes as members of its system;

  • Adult day services means adult day services as defined in section 231D.1.

  • Clock hour means either of the following:

  • Day Worker means a worker who works his/her ordinary hours from Monday to Friday inclusive and who commences work on such days at or after 6.00 a.m. and before 10.00 a.m. otherwise than as part of a shift system.

  • Night Shift means any shift finishing after midnight and at or before 8.00 a.m.
