Data Security Incident definition

Data Security Incident means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, Agreement Personal Data transmitted, stored or otherwise Processed;
Data Security Incident is defined as any incident whereby (a) an unauthorized person (whether within Trust Company or a third party) acquired or accessed Client’s information, or (b) Client’s information is otherwise lost, stolen or compromised.
Data Security Incident means a situation when Utility or ESE reasonably believes that there has been: (A) the loss or misuse (by any means) of Confidential Information; (B) the unauthorized acquisition of computerized data that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of Confidential Information, or Private Information as defined by GBL § 899-aa, computer systems, network and devices used by a business; (C) any other act or omission that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of Confidential Information, or (D) any material breach of any Data Protection Requirements in relation to the Processing of Confidential Information, including by any current or former Representatives.

Examples of Data Security Incident in a sentence

  • In the event of a Data Security Incident, the Receiving Party shall promptly take any measures required under Applicable Law and technical standards to restore the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Shared Data and the resilience of the processing systems and services and to mitigate risk of harm and/or any detrimental consequences for the Data Subjects affected or potentially affected by the Data Security Incident.

  • Each Party must notify the other immediately, but in any case no later than 24 hours after becoming aware of a Data Security Incident.

  • In the event that the Data Receiver is required under Applicable Law to notify a Data Security Incident to a Supervisory Authority or other authority, the Data Subjects concerned or any other third parties, the Data Receiver shall, to the extent permitted under Applicable Law and reasonably possible, liaise and coordinate with the Data Discloser prior to making such notification.

  • Data Breaches and Incidents The Data Receiver shall promptly notify the Data Discloser of any technical, organisational or other incidents (including incidents at Processors) which have resulted or may result in a Personal Data Breach (in the meaning specified in the Data Protection Legislation), or otherwise have or may have an adverse effect on the integrity and security of the Shared Data ("Data Security Incident").

Data Security Incident means an incident whereby (i) an unauthorized person acquired or accessed Client’s Confidential Information; or (ii) Client’s Confidential Information is otherwise lost, stolen, or compromised, each case, while in the possession or control of the Coinbase Entities. The Coinbase Entities have established a business continuity plan that will support their ability to conduct business in the event of a significant business disruption. The business continuity plan is reviewed and updated annually, and may be updated more frequently as deemed necessary by the Coinbase Entities in their sole discretion. Data Security Incident means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed;
Data Security Incident means a situation when ESCO/DC reasonably believes that there has been: (A) the loss or misuse (by any means) of Confidential Utility Information; (B) the inadvertent, unauthorized and/or unlawful Processing, corruption, modification, transfer, sale or rental of Confidential Utility Information; (C) any other act or omission that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of Confidential Utility Information or (D) any breach of any Data Protection Requirements in relation to the Processing of Confidential Utility Information by ESCO/DC or any current or former Representatives. Good faith acquisition of Confidential Utility Information by an employee or agent of ESCO/DC for the purposes of the business is not a Data Security Incident, provided that the Confidential Utility Information is not misused or subject to unauthorized disclosure.
Data Security Incident means any unauthorized access to Personal Information owned, licensed, or maintained by UBER.
Data Security Incident or “Incident’ shall mean an accidental or deliberate event that results in or constitutes an imminent threat of the unauthorized access, loss, disclosure, modification, disruption, or destruction of communication or information resources of WVUP.
Data Security Incident means the actual loss or misuse of Confidential Information or any other inadvertent, unauthorized or unlawful Processing of Confidential Information that compromises its security, confidentiality or integrity or otherwise creates a substantial risk of identity fraud or theft, regardless of whether the Confidential Information is in electronic or hard copy form.
