Data Privacy Laws definition

Data Privacy Laws means any state or national law or regulation protecting the privacy, confidentiality, or security of Personal Information.
Data Privacy Laws means applicable national, federal, state, and provincial laws relating to data privacy, the protection of personal information or data, and the cross-border transfer of personal information or data.
Data Privacy Laws means the following as amended, extended or re-enacted from time to time.

  • District acknowledges and agrees that Magic School may use Magic School affiliates and other subcontractors to Process Personal Information in accordance with the provisions within this Addendum and Data Privacy Laws.

  • The Parties will process any personal data that may be stored and/or handled from time to time as required by the services, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which the personal data is stored ("Data Privacy Laws").

  • Where Magic School sub-contracts any of its rights or obligations concerning Personal Information, including to any affiliate, Magic School will take steps to select and retain subcontractors that are capable of maintaining appropriate privacy and security measures to protect Personal Information consistent with applicable Data Privacy Laws.

  • Except to the extent required otherwise by Data Privacy Laws, Magic School will, at the choice of District, return to District and/or securely destroy all Personal Information upon (a) written request of District or (b) termination of the Addendum.

  • The Parties shall process any Personal Data that may be stored and/or handled from time to time as required by the Services, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which the Personal Data is stored ("Data Privacy Laws").

Data Privacy Laws means applicable national, federal, state and provincial laws relating to data privacy, the protection of personal information or data, and the cross- border transfer of personal information or data, including, without limitation, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”), the laws and regulations of the European Union member states under the European Union Directive 95/46/EC (the “EU Directive”), the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and any European Union law or regulation that may be enacted to replace the EU Directive or the GDPR.
Data Privacy Laws means applicable laws relating to the processing of Personal Data including the Data Protection Xxx 0000 (DPA), Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) (as amended) and the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR);
Data Privacy Laws means all applicable laws (including common law), rules, regulations, codes, ordinances, policies, orders, decrees or judgments, promulgated or entered into by any Governmental Authority, relating in any way to the transmission, storage, security or protection of data and information, including personally identifiable information.
Data Privacy Laws means the data protection and privacy laws of all applicable countries and states, including, but not limited to, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Data Privacy Laws means the Data Protection Xxx 0000, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”), the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), and laws of similar purpose or effect in any relevant jurisdiction, in each case as amended, updated, re-enacted or replaced from time to time;
Data Privacy Laws means the California Consumer Privacy Act (California Civil Code § 1798.100, et seq.), the California Online Privacy Protection Act (California Business & Professions Code § 22575, et seq.), HIPAA and any other laws, rules or regulations of any Governmental Authority governing the Borrower’s Collection and Use of Personal Information solely to the extent applicable to the Company
Data Privacy Laws means applicable national, federal, state and provincial laws relating to data privacy, the protection of personal information or data, and the cross-border transfer of personal information or data, including, without limitation,(i) the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”); (ii) the laws, directives and regulations of the European Union member states under the European Union Directive 95/46/EC (the “EU Directive”), (iii) the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and any European Union law, directive or regulation that may be enacted to replace the EU Directive or the GDPR; or (iv) the Data Protection Act 1998,GDRP, the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, the Telecommunications (Lawful Business Practice) (Interception of Communications) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000/2699), the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive 2002/58/EC, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (SI 2003/2426) together with the equivalent legislation of any other applicable jurisdiction and all other applicable law, regulations and codes of conduct in any relevant jurisdiction relating to the processing of personal data and privacy including the guidance and codes of practice issued by the UK Information Commissioner. This definition will survive the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union and includes all data protection laws currently enacted within English law and any future amendments or variations intended to replace them.
