Cut definition

Cut. - means an excavation made by a contractor, utility or the City to access an underground structure.
Cut means any artificially formed slope greater than one hundred percent (forty-five degrees) and extending vertically at least five feet from the toe of the slope to the top of the slope.
Cut and “cutting” means to remove by digging, scraping or scooping;
