Custody of the Department means that the foster youth:
Custody of the Department means that the youth is in out-of-home care under the supervision of the Department while the subject of a dependency petition, adjudicated dependent or placed voluntarily pursuant to A.R.S. § 8-806.
Custody of the Department means a child who has been court ordered into the temporary or permanent custody of the Department of Children and Families or contracted service provider. This includes children who have been ordered into shelter status and placed in licensed care with the department, as well as, those children that have been adjudicated dependent.
