Curtailment Order definition

Curtailment Order means any of the following:
Curtailment Order means any instruction from Buyer to Seller to reduce the delivery of Energy from the Facility for any reason other than as set forth in Sections 5.8.1(a) or (b).
Curtailment Order means an order from SCE to Seller to reduce or stop the delivery of electric energy from the Generating Facility to SCE for any reason except as set forth in Sections 3.03(a)-(b).

  • Except to the extent compliance would directly cause loss or recapture of any Tax Attributes, Seller shall reduce Buyer’s Share of generation from the Project as required pursuant to a Buyer Curtailment Order, provided that (a) the Buyer Curtailment Period shall not exceed the Buyer Curtailment Cap cumulatively per Contract Year (which may be consecutive or non-consecutive); and (b) Buyer shall pay Seller the Contract Price for Deemed Delivered Energy associated with a Buyer Curtailment Period.

Curtailment Order means any of the following: CAISO orders, directs, alerts, or provides notice to a Party, including a CAISO Operating Order, to curtail deliveries of Energy from the Facility for the following reasons: (i) any System Emergency, or (ii) any warning of an anticipated System Emergency, or warning of an imminent condition or situation, which jeopardizes CAISO’s electric system integrity or the integrity of other systems to which CAISO is connected; a curtailment ordered by the Participating Transmission Owner or distribution operator (if interconnected to distribution or sub-transmission system) for reasons including, but not limited to, (i) any situation that affects normal function of the electric system including, but not limited to, any abnormal condition that requires action to prevent circumstances such as equipment damage, loss of load, or abnormal voltage conditions, or (ii) any warning, forecast or anticipation of conditions or situations that jeopardize the Participating Transmission Owner’s electric system integrity or the integrity of other systems to which the Participating Transmission Owner is connected; a curtailment ordered by CAISO or the Participating Transmission Owner due to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on the Participating Transmission Owner’s transmission facilities that prevents (i) Buyer from receiving or (ii) Seller from delivering Energy to the Delivery Point; ora curtailment in accordance with Seller’s obligations under its Interconnection Agreement with the Participating Transmission Owner or distribution operator; provided, however, that Buyer may not issue any Curtailment Order or any other instruction to curtail or reduce deliveries or output associated with Energy, Scheduled Energy or Metered Energy.
Curtailment Order means, for In Front of the Meter Distributed Generation Projects only, an order from SCE to Seller to reduce or stop the delivery of Energy from the Generating Facility to SCE for any reason except as set forth in Sections 6.01(f)(i)-(ii) of Attachment 1.
Curtailment Order means any of the following: CAISO or another Governmental Authority orders, directs, alerts, or provides notice to a Party, including through a CAISO Operating Order, to curtail deliveries of Facility Energy; the Participating Transmission Owner orders, directs, alerts, or provides notice to a Party to curtail deliveries of Facility Energy; a curtailment due to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on the Participating Transmission Owner’s transmission or distribution facilities that prevents (i) Buyer from receiving or (ii) Seller from delivering Facility Energy to the Delivery Point; a curtailment by a third party (i.e., an entity other than Seller) pursuant to the Interconnection Agreement; or a curtailment by Seller.
Curtailment Order means the notice of suspension of scheduled firm and/or interruptible transportation service provided by Transporter to affected Shippers, as more particularly described in Section 17.A.3.
Curtailment Order means a Ministerial Order issued to an operator by the Minister of Energy in the Province of Alberta specifying the combined amount of crude oil and crude bitumen such operator may produce in a calendar month pursuant to the Curtailment Rules;
Curtailment Order means any order issued by BPA or any successor Balancing Authority requiring the Generator to suspend or curtail Electrical Output in response to system conditions, a system emergency, or otherwise to maintain reliability of the interconnected electric system, and includes, but is not limited to, orders issued by BPA under its Dispatch Standing Order No. 216 or any successor order, BPA’s Oversupply Management Protocol or any successor policy, and any BPA Business Practice. If the policy or practices of BPA or any successor Balancing Area Authority with respect to curtailments change during the Term of this Agreement (as such Term may be extended in accordance with this Agreement), the parties shall cooperate in good faith to agree upon an amendment or amendments to this Agreement to implement the changed policy or practice and to allocate its effect between the parties.
