Curtailed Energy definition

Curtailed Energy has the meaning specified in Section 7.4(c)(i). “Daily COD Delay Damages” has the meaning specified in Section 3.7.
Curtailed Energy means an estimate of possible PV System production during periods that the PV System output is restricted due to a Curtailment Event. For compensable curtailment periods, Compensable Curtailed Energy will be estimated as the average of the PV System Output (kW) at the
Curtailed Energy shall have the meaning provided in Section 5.1(f) hereof.

Examples of Curtailed Energy in a sentence

  • Buyer shall not be obligated to pay Seller for any Products related to Non-Compensable Curtailed Energy.

  • Buyer shall pay Seller the Contract Price for Products associated with Compensable Curtailed Energy.

  • During the Delivery Term, the Parties shall reasonably estimate the amount of curtailed Facility Energy that would have been realized had any curtailment of deliveries to Buyer described in Section 7.5(d) not occurred (“Curtailed Energy”), including a reasonable estimate of the amount of such Curtailed Energy attributable to Non-Compensable Curtailments (“Non-Compensable Curtailed Energy”) and the amount of such Curtailed Energy attributable to Compensable Curtailments (“Compensable Curtailed Energy”).

  • Seller shall install pyranometers and related measurement equipment around the Facility or in conjunction with the solar panels comprising the Facility to provide the capability of measuring and recording representative solar data, which data, in conjunction with actual solar panel availability and capability, shall be used to calculate the Curtailed Energy.

  • Seller shall install sufficient measuring equipment at the Facility to collect data necessary to reasonably determine the amount of Curtailed Energy.

More Definitions of Curtailed Energy

Curtailed Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 7.5(e).
Curtailed Energy means the amount of Energy expressed in MWh that the Facility would have produced and delivered to the Delivery Point, but that is not produced by the Facility and delivered to the Delivery Point during a Curtailment Period, which amount shall be equal to the result of the equation provided by Seller to reasonably calculate the potential generation of the Facility as a function of Available Capacity, wind speed, and wind direction and using relevant Facility availability, weather and other pertinent data for the period of time during the Curtailment Period less the amount of Metered Energy delivered to the Delivery Point during the Curtailment Period; provided that, if the Metered Energy is greater than the calculation of potential generation, then the Curtailed Energy shall be zero (0).
Curtailed Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 8.3(A)(2) of this Agreement.
Curtailed Energy means the amount of energy expressed in MWh that the Facility would have produced and delivered to the Delivery Point, but that is not produced by the Facility and delivered to the Delivery Point during a Curtailment Period, which amount shall be equal to the result of the equation provided by SellerReal-Time Forecast, expressed in MWh, applicable to reasonably calculate the potential generation of the Facility as a function of Available Capacity, weather and other pertinent data for the period of time during the Curtailment Period, less the amount of Facility Energy delivered to the Delivery Point during the Curtailment Period; provided, if the Facility Energy is greater than the calculation of potential generation, then the Curtailed Energy shall be zero (0).
Curtailed Energy means, for any Hour, the amount of energy (expressed in MWh) that would have been produced by the Facility and delivered by Seller to Buyer at the Point of Delivery pursuant to this Agreement but that was not produced by the Facility and delivered to the Point of Delivery pursuant to this Agreement due to: (i) a curtailment or cessation of deliveries of energy as a result of Buyer’s direction pursuant to Section 9.3 or Section 9.5 (including all Deemed Delivered Energy); (ii) a curtailment or cessation of deliveries under Section 9.4 that is not due to a condition or circumstance existing with respect to Seller’s facilities or equipment; or (iii) a Force Majeure Event affecting the Facility (provided that Sellerhas complied with the requirements of Article 17, including providing Buyer with notice of such Force Majeure Event as required thereunder). The amount of Curtailed Energy shall be determined using Facility availability information, relevant weather conditions and other pertinent Facility data for such Hour, as agreed to by the Parties and incorporated into the Operating Procedures.
Curtailed Energy means an estimate of possible PV System production during periods that the PV System output is restricted due to a Curtailment Event. For compensable curtailment periods, Compensable Curtailed Energy will be estimated as the average of the PV System Output (kW) at the Sheet No. 49.4-C Effective July 11, 2018 start of a Curtailment Event and the PV System Output (kW) at the end of a Curtailment Event multiplied by the duration (in hours) of the Curtailment Event (in kilowatt hours); provided further, however, that if Company reasonably concludes that the foregoing calculations are unlikely to be representative of the Curtailed Energy for the duration of the Curtailment Event, the Curtailed Energy shall be the Curtailed Energy for such event as demonstrated by Subscriber Organization to Company's reasonable satisfaction.
Curtailed Energy shall have the meaning provided in Section 5.l(f) hereof. "Delay Damages" means a daily amount equal to $8,247.00 per day.
