Critical Illness definition

Critical Illness means an illness, sickness or disease or corrective measure as specified in Section 6 of this policy document.
Critical Illness or “CI” means Diagnosis of any of the following Covered Conditions which occur directly as a result of illness, and first occur after the Effective Date of Insurance:

Examples of Critical Illness in a sentence

  • If an Insured Person is First Diagnosed to be suffering from a Critical Illness of the nature specified in Annexure A of the Policy, during the Coverage Period, then We will pay the Sum Insured under this Benefit as specified in the Certificate of Insurance.

  • The Critical Illnesses defined below shall be covered under the Critical Illness Benefit in the below combination, as may be specified in the Schedule or Certificate of Insurance: X.XX.

  • Life insurance, Optional Life Insurance, Optional Critical Illness Insurance, Extended Health and Dental benefit provisions are as provided under the respective contracts and Alberta Health Care is as provided by the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan.

  • Critical Illness PROOF of illness satisfactory to the insurance company.

  • We offer products from a range of insurers for Life Assurance, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection Insurance.


More Definitions of Critical Illness

Critical Illness means any of the Illness or surgeries listed under Part C Clause 1 (C)(ii)
Critical Illness means following disease/illness:
Critical Illness means illness shall include either the diagnosis of any of the illnesses or performance of any of the covered surgeries as given in section I C) of Annexure K, subject to exclusion as given in section II C) of Annexure K. Annexure K forms part of this Policy Document.

Annexure K forms part of this Policy Document.
Critical Illness means a serious medical condition listed on the Schedule of Benefits and defined in the Benefit Provisions section of the Policy.
