These records shall be available to IEDA and its designees at places and times designated by IEDA, its internal or external auditors, the Auditor of the State of Iowa, the Attorney General of the State of Iowa and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations at all times during the Contract duration and any extensions thereof, and for three (3) full years from the Agreement Expiration Date.
Assignments eligible for special assignment pay include any Officer or Sergeant assigned as an investigator or detective to the Criminal Investigations Unit, Narcotic=s Unit, a Team Detective, or any other assignment so designated by the Department Head.
This amount shall be pro- rated per day worked, paid semi-annually for members not assigned in the Criminal Investigations Division or other area as determined by the Chief for a full calendar year.
Prior to signing the Agreement, the Commissioner will review the Department’s records to determine that the disclosure period is acceptable and to confirm that Taxpayer has not been contacted for audit by the Department, is not under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Department, and/or has not otherwise been previously contacted by the Department with regard to its FIT liability.
All Field Training Officers actively engaged in training a newly-hired officer or a new member in a specialty assignment (i.e., Criminal Investigations, Special Investigations, etc.) will be compensated one (1) hour of overtime, which may be taken in the form of overtime or compensatory time, as compensation for each day they have an assigned trainee for at least half of their assigned shift.
Section 20.1 Criminal Investigations A bargaining unit member who is to be questioned as a suspect in any investigation where criminal charges may result, shall be advised of his constitutional rights in accordance with law.
The normal daily schedule for all Police Officers who work administrative jobs (e.g., Criminal Investigations, Public Information, Research & Development, Training Officer, and Fleet & Supply Officer) and those Police Officers not assigned to the Patrol Section shall be for a ten (10) hour shift between 0500 and 1900 hours.
Employees assigned to Criminal Investigations Division and School Resource Officer positions after January 1, 2009 for more than six (6) months shall receive six hundred dollars ($600.00) upon assignment and on the anniversary of such assignment, paid the first full pay period following the date of assignment.
This provision applies both to uniforms provided to bargaining unit members by the City and to professional wardrobe worn by Detectives while on duty in the Criminal Investigations Division.
If the Criminal Investigations Division Lieutenant is not on duty, a Sergeant permanently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division shall be paid the percentage difference between the minimum rate of pay between the sergeant and lieutenant wage rates in addition to their regular base hourly rate for all hours worked in the higher assignment, provided that the duration of the assignment comprises one-half of the total shift or more.
