Credited Hours definition

Credited Hours shall be those applied towards a Flight Attendant's monthly maximum flight time as set forth in Scheduling, Section 10, and shall include, but not be limited to regularly scheduled sequences, extra sections, charter trips, ferry flights, rescheduled flights, scenic flights, deadhead flights , vacation, sick leave credit, minimum duty period credit, Duty Rig, trip hour credit, Company or Union Business credit, salary continuance credit, jury duty credit, bereavement, training, and compensated publicity duty credit.
Credited Hours means all hours an employee performs the duties of a Flight Attendant or is credited with a unit of time for pay purposes.
Credited Hours or "Credited Time" -means all hours a Flight Attendant performs the duties of a Flight Attendant or is credited with a unit of time for pay purposes, except as otherwise provided for in this Agreement. Credited time shall include, but not be limited to, actual hours flown or scheduled flight time, whichever is greater; deadheading; vacation; accrued sick leave; extra sections, charter trips, other specified non-flight assignments and training, except as otherwise provided for in this Agreement.

Examples of Credited Hours in a sentence

  • For those individuals who had a Break in Service during the period commencing with January 1, 2017 to and including December 31, 2020, the increase shall apply only to Credited Hours accumulated after the date of the most recent Break in Service.

  • For those individuals who had a Break in Service during the three (3) year period immediately preceding January 1st of the evaluation year, the increase shall apply only to Credited Hours accumulated after the date of the most recent Break in Service.

  • For purposes of paragraphs (A), (B) and (C), Credited Hours shall be limited as set forth in Section 2(a)(2).

  • First, such Excluded Person (whether or not he previously participated in the Active or Retiree Fund of the Plan) shall not be an Employee, Controlling Employee or Participant in the Active or Retiree Fund of the Plan for the Controlled Employer on and after September 1, 2002 and shall not earn any Credited Hours for the Controlled Employer on and after September 1, 2002.

  • In the event that the reserve levels are below eight (8) months in the Active Health Fund or the Retired Employees Fund on January 1st of the evaluation year, or the Pension Plan is not certified to be in the Green Zone in the evaluation year, the benefit accrual rates for Credited Hours accumulated since the most recent increase in the pension benefit accrual rate shall remain at the rates provided in subparagraph (f)(1)(i)(A)-(C) above.

  • For those individuals who had a Break in Service during the three-year period immediately preceding January 1st of the evaluation year, the increase shall apply only to Credited Hours accumulated after the date of the most recent Break in Service.

  • In that case, then in accordance with and subject to the Sideletter, the particular Employee shall not be a Participant and shall not earn any benefits or Credited Hours with respect to the Employee’s employment by the specified Employer on the project(s) specified by the Sideletter.

  • For those individuals who had a Break in Service, the increase shall apply only to Credited Hours accumulated after the date of the most recent Break in Service through December 31, 2016.

  • Such benefit and all Credited Hours and Qualified Years attributable to such benefit shall thereupon be disregarded for all purposes under this Plan.

  • For purposes of clauses (A), (B) and (C), Credited Hours shall be limited as set forth in Section 2 (a) (2).


More Definitions of Credited Hours

Credited Hours shall be those charged against a flight attendant's monthly maximum flight time as set forth in Section 10, Paragraphs C.1.,2.,3.,4.,5.,6. and 8. of this Agreement, and shall include, but not be limited to regularly sched- uled trips, extra sections, charter trips, ferry flights, re-routed flights, scenic flights, deadhead time when at Company request, vacation, sick leave credit, minimum duty period credit, duty rig, trip hour credit, reporting credit, Company or union business credit, salary continuation credit, jury duty credit, compensated publicity duty credit, and training in accordance with Section 3.H.1.
Credited Hours or "Credited Time" means all hours an employee performs the duties of a Flight Attendant or is credited with a unit of time for pay purposes, except as otherwise provided for in this Agreement. Credited time shall include, but not be limited to, actual hours flown or scheduled time (in the specific aircraft) of legs actually flown, whichever is greater; deadheading; vacation; accrued sick leave; and training, except as otherwise provided for in this Agreement.

  • STIPULATED HOURS OF SERVICE PER DAY means hours of duty per day, normal hours/timings of duty whereof shall be determined by the Company's Engineer for which fixed charge shall be payable.

  • Credited Service means the member's total period of service

  • Base Hours means the hours of work for which a staff member receives compensation. Base hours shall include overtime hours for which a staff member is paid additional or overtime compensation, and hours for which a staff member receives workers’ compensation benefits. Base hours shall also include hours a staff member would have worked except for having been in military service. Base hours do not include hours for when a staff member receives other types of compensation, such as administrative, personal leave, vacation, or sick leave.

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.

  • permitted hours means the periods specified for each parking place during which waiting by vehicles of a specific class is permitted as specified on the Plans;

  • Regular hours worked means those hours which the court is regularly scheduled to work during any given work week. Depending on the particular court, these hours may vary from court to court within the county but remain the same for each work week.

  • Service Hours means the amount of time (measured in hours or fractions thereof) a Unit is Delivering Energy or Ancillary Services pursuant to a Dispatch Notice.

  • Labor hours means the total hours of workers receiving an hourly wage who are directly employed on the site of a building improvement or public works project. "Labor hours" includes hours performed by workers employed by the general contractor and all subcontractors working on the project. "Labor hours" does not include hours worked by foremen, superintendents, project managers, project engineers, and owners.

  • On-Peak Hours means Hour Ending (“HE”) 0800 through HE 2300 EPT, Monday through Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and PJM holidays.

  • Core Hours means the period beginning at 8am and ending at 6.30pm on any day from Monday to Friday except Good Friday, Christmas Day or bank holidays;

  • Off-Peak Hours means those hours which are not On-Peak Hours.

  • Support Hours means between 8:30am and 5pm during Monday to Friday excluding standard UK Bank Holidays.

  • Accredited school means a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency, recognized according to Minn. Stat. § 123B.445 or recognized by the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE).

  • Clock hours means the actual number of hours or time a participant spends attending the instructional portion of a training designed to develop or enhance early care and education or school–age care competencies.

  • Teaching days means days on which classes were engaged. Examination days are not to be included)

  • Hour of Service means:

  • Ordinary Hours means 38 hours per week within the spread of hours which may be averaged over a 12 month period.

  • Period of Service means the aggregate of all periods of service commencing with an Employee's first day of employment or reemployment with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer and ending on the first day of a Period of Severance, or for benefit accrual purposes, ending on the severance from service date. The first day of employment or reemployment is the first day the Employee performs an Hour of Service. An Employee who incurs a Period of Severance of twelve (12) months or less will also receive service-spanning credit by treating any such period as a Period of Service for purposes of eligibility and vesting (but not benefit accrual). For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.

  • accredited representative means an individual whose name is included on the Police Station Register and who is accredited by a body recognised by us as competent to grant such accreditation;

  • Years of Service means the total number of full years in which a Participant has been employed by one or more Employers. For purposes of this definition, a year of employment shall be a 365 day period (or 366 day period in the case of a leap year) that, for the first year of employment, commences on the Employee's date of hiring and that, for any subsequent year, commences on an anniversary of that hiring date. Any partial year of employment shall not be counted.

  • office hours means the period beginning at 10:00 a.m. of a day and ending at 4:30 p.m. of the same day.

  • accredited person means a person registered in terms of the Regulations as an electrical tester for single phase, an installation electrician or a master installation electrician, as the case may be;

  • Year of Service means the computation period of twelve (12) consecutive months, herein set forth, during which an Employee has at least 1000 Hours of Service.

  • Final Average Pay means the participant’s average monthly compensation in the highest three calendar years of compensation out of five consecutive calendar years of employment during a period of eligibility service by the Company or an Affiliate. Years separated by a period of one or more calendar years when the participant has no such eligible employment shall be treated as consecutive. Additional compensation paid at retirement or other Separation from Service, such as for periods of unused vacation or sick leave, shall be attributed to calendar years by assuming that employment continued during the period based on which the compensation is measured. Severance pay shall be disregarded, except severance pay in lieu of service.

  • Hours means clock hours.
