Court Session definition

Court Session means each sitting of the court in the morning, or the afternoon, or the evening, or any other time of the day designated by the court.
Court Session means the period during which the court sittings are held;

Examples of Court Session in a sentence

  • Subject to subsection (12), any organisation, association, or employer affected by a decision of a Board of Reference may, within 21 days from the date of that decision appeal against that decision to the Commission in Court Session in the manner prescribed.

  • Lawsuit means any lawsuit, arbitration or other dispute resolution filed by either party herein pertaining to any of this Warrant, the Facility Agreement and the Registration Rights Agreement.

  • Juvenile court means the district court of this state.

  • Expert witness or “expert” means a person who is retained to render an opinion regarding an issue relevant to a case, whether or not the person actually testifies in court.

  • Court of competent jurisdiction means a federal court, or a state court that entered an order in a child custody proceeding involving an Indian child, as long as the state court had proper subject matter jurisdiction in accordance with this chapter and the laws of that state, or a tribal court that had or has exclusive or concurrent jurisdiction pursuant to 25 U.S.C. Sec. 1911.

  • County clerk means the county clerk or the county official in charge of elections.

  • Civil action means all suits or claims of a civil nature in a state or federal court, whether cognizable as cases at law or in equity or admiralty. "Civil action" does not include any of the following:

  • Arbitration Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 9.13.

  • Initiating tribunal means the tribunal of a state or foreign country from which a petition or comparable pleading is forwarded or in which a petition or comparable pleading is filed for forwarding to another state or foreign country.
