The payment of interest on certain payments due and owed by a County agency may be made in accordance with Section 3-a of the General Municipal Law at the rate of three percent (3%) per annum.
County purchases are authorized only if the County issues a Purchase Order in advance of the transaction, indicating that the ordering County agency has sufficient funds available to pay for the purchase.
Performance under this contract is not to begin until receipt of the purchase order, Procurement Card order, or other notification to proceed by the County Purchasing Agent and/or County agency to proceed.
