Cost of Operation means reasonable direct operational costs incurred by an employer

Cost of Operation means all costs (excluding Actual Fuel Costs and financing costs) incurred by KCPL, in connection with the operation and maintenance of Xxxx 0, and Common Facilities that are properly recordable to Unit 2 in accordance with the Operating Expense Instructions and in appropriate accounts as set forth in the Uniform System of Accounts, and all such costs associated with pollution control facilities necessary for the operation of Unit 2. Credits, reimbursements, refunds or rebates, including casualty insurance proceeds, with respect to amounts previously included in Cost of Operation, shall be applied as received to set off amounts otherwise due from the Owners at such time.

All of such Costs of Operation shall be calculated, and allocation of such amounts shall be made, consistent with the principles and methodology set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof, as the parties shall from time to time agree, and shall be made in accordance with any applicable rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission under the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935, the FERC under the Federal Power Act and other regulatory authorities having jurisdiction in the matter.
Cost of Operation means the costs actually incurred by Lessee in the Production of Oil or Gas after completion of Exploration, site preparation and drilling, and before Oil or Gas is removed from the Leased Premises for refining, transportation, or sale. Cost of Operation may include wages, cost of electricity to run pumps, and regular maintenance, which are all specific to the Leased Premises. Cost of Operation does not include depreciation of equipment, administrative overhead, or capital costs or expenditures.
