Cost of Living Amount definition

Cost of Living Amount means an amount calculated by multiplying the Base Salary then in effect by a fraction, (a) the numerator of which shall be the amount (not less than zero) by which the latest Cost of Living Index available as of the time of determination exceeds the Cost of Living Index for same period during the immediately preceding year, and (b) the denominator of which shall be the Cost of Living Index for the same period during the immediately preceding year.
Cost of Living Amount means that portion of a retirement allowance, as the day preceding the operative date of this section, resulting from adjustments made pursuant to Section 4.1040 of this Code.

Examples of Cost of Living Amount in a sentence

Related to Cost of Living Amount

  • Cost of Living Adjustment means the percentage (if any) by which the Consumer Price Index for the month of October preceding the adjustment ex- ceeds the Consumer Price Index for the month of October one year before the month of October preceding date of the adjustment.

  • PJM Region Installed Reserve Margin means the percent installed reserve margin for the PJM Region required pursuant to RAA, Schedule 4.1, as approved by the PJM Board. PJM Region Peak Load Forecast:

  • Total Available Amount With respect to any Distribution Date, the sum of the Available Interest and the Available Principal for such Distribution Date and the amount of all cash or other immediately available funds on deposit in the Reserve Account immediately prior to such Distribution Date.

  • Network Availability means the capability of the equipment to resume functions after a remotely initiated trigger has been detected by a network port;

As an illustration of the calculation of Blended Rate for a Taxable Year, if the Corporate Taxpayer solely files Tax Returns in State 1 and State 2 in a Taxable Year, the maximum applicable corporate tax rates in effect in such states in such Taxable Year are 6% and 5%, respectively and the apportionment factors for such states in such Taxable Year are 60% and 40%, respectively, then the Blended Rate for such Taxable Year is equal to 5.6% (i.e., 6% times 60% plus 5% times 40%).

  • Non-Availability Charges has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Adjusted EBITDA Margin means Adjusted EBITDA divided by operating revenue;

  • Total Amount Due means the hammer price in respect of the lot sold together with any premium, Value Added Tax chargeable and any additional charges payable by a defaulting buyer under these Conditions;

  • Average Monthly Limit means the maximum allowable "Average Monthly Concentration" as defined in Section 22a-430-3(a) of the RCSA when expressed as a concentration (e.g. mg/l); otherwise, it means "Average Monthly Discharge Limitation" as defined in Section 22a-430-3(a) of the RCSA.

  • Maximum Cap Rate For any Distribution Date with respect to the Group I Certificates, a per annum rate equal to the sum of (i) the product of (x) the weighted average of the Expense Adjusted Maximum Mortgage Rates of the Group I Mortgage Loans, weighted based on their outstanding Principal Balances as of the first day of the calendar month preceding the month in which the Distribution Date occurs and (y) a fraction, the numerator of which is 30 and the denominator of which is the actual number of days elapsed in the related Accrual Period and (ii) an amount, expressed as a percentage, equal to a fraction, the numerator of which is equal to the Net Swap Payment made by the Swap Provider and the denominator of which is equal to the aggregate Stated Principal Balance of the Mortgage Loans, multiplied by 12.   • Minimum Lifetime Mortgage Rate The minimum level to which a Mortgage Interest Rate can adjust in accordance with its terms, regardless of changes in the applicable Index.
