Cost of Dental Services definition

Cost of Dental Services means: the aggregate compensation of dentists who are employed by or who are independent contractors with P.C. at the Dental Centers and other personnel who must be employed by the P.C. under applicable law including dental hygienists ("Support Personnel") together with the cost of expenses, taxes and benefits of such dentists and Support Personnel including, but not limited to, vacation pay, sick pay, health care expenses, professional dues, expense reimbursement, discretionary bonuses or incentive payments, if any, based on profitability or productivity and other expenses and payments required to be made to or for the benefit of the dentists or the Support Personnel pursuant to their employment agreements or independent contractor agreements or otherwise plus P.C.'s portion of all employment and payroll taxes; other expenses incurred by P.C. in carrying out its obligations under this Agreement; and the costs of malpractice insurance, in each case on an accrual basis.

Cost of Dental Services means: the aggregate compensation of dentists who are employed by or who are independent contractors with P.A. at the Dental Centers and other licensed personnel who must be employed by the P.A. under applicable law ("Support Personnel") together with the cost of expenses, taxes and benefits of such dentists and Support Personnel including, but not limited to, vacation pay, sick pay, health care expenses, professional dues, expense reimbursement, discretionary bonuses or incentive payments, if any, based on profitability or productivity and other expenses and payments required to be made to or for the benefit of the dentists or the Support Personnel pursuant to their employment agreements or independent contractor agreements or otherwise plus P.A.'s portion of 2 all employment and payroll taxes; other expenses incurred by P.A. in carrying out its obligations under this Agreement; and the costs of malpractice insurance; and costs which are paid to Service Company under leases for premises (including without limitation under Section 8 of this Agreement) or personal property or under licenses.

  • Inpatient hospital services means any health care service provided to a patient who has been admitted to a hospital and is required to remain in that hospital overnight, but does not include any secure forensic mental health services;

  • Food services means the preparation and serving of nutritionally balanced meals and snacks.

  • Pharmacy services means the practice of pharmacy as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW and includes any drugs or devices as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW.

  • Distribution Services means services related to the distribution of electricity and the services the Board has required distributors to carry out, for which a charge or rate has been approved by the Board under section 78 of the Act.

  • Technical Services means all services that are necessary to carry out individual, scattered site activities including but not limited to: (1) conducting initial inspections, (2) work write-up or project specification development, (3) cost estimate preparation, (4) construction supervision associated with activities that do not require an architect or engineer, (5) lead hazard reduction or lead abatement need determination and oversight, (6) lead hazard reduction or abatement carrying costs, (7) temporary relocation coordination, (8) financing costs such as security agreement preparation and recording or filing fees, (9) processing of individual applications for assistance, (10) income eligibility determination and verification, (11) value determination (new construction) or after rehabilitation value determination (existing structures), and (12) project-specific environmental clearance processes.

  • Transportation Services means travel assistance given to an individual

  • Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.
