Examples of Corrupt Conduct in a sentence
It is acknowledged that the assessment of whether there had been ‘unnecessary delay’ in each case will depend on its own circumstances, but it is always unacceptable (and will therefore constitute ‘unnecessary delay’) for a Participant to wait until after the match in respect of which he/she was invited to engage in Corrupt Conduct before reporting that approach to the Designated Anti-Corruption Official.
However, Corrupt Conduct may also be a criminal offence and/or a breach of other applicable laws or regulations.
The substance of each set of anti-corruption rules (including what constitutes Corrupt Conduct and the sanctions for such Corrupt Conduct) of the ICC and National Cricket Federations are materially the same as this Anti-Corruption Code.
Failing or refusing, without compelling justification, to cooperate with any investigation carried out by the Designated Anti-Corruption Official in relation to possible Corrupt Conduct under this Anti-Corruption Code (by any Participant), including (without limitation) failing to provide accurately and completely any information and/or documentation requested by the Designated Anti-Corruption Official (whether as part of a formal Demand pursuant to Article 4.3 or otherwise) as part of such investigation.
Failing to disclose to the Designated Anti-Corruption Official (without unnecessary delay) full details of any approaches or invitations received by the Participant to engage in Corrupt Conduct under this Anti-Corruption Code.
