Corrective Maintenance definition

Corrective Maintenance means the maintenance which is required when an item has failed or worn out, to bring it back to working order, which may also include those services necessary to partially restore, renew or strengthen an existing Department facility or system, following damage caused by use or normal wear and tear.
Corrective Maintenance means the diagnosis and repair of faults and defects including defects discovered during Preventative Maintenance work or as a result of emergency call-out.
Corrective Maintenance means Repair and/or Replacement services as defined in this Solicitation and shall be performed anytime the preventative maintenance, test or inspection identifies equipment and parts that have failed or are worn out. The Contractor shall bring back to working order, equipment or parts malfunctioning or damaged, due to wear-and-tear, or failure detected during regular preventative maintenance, tests or inspections.
