COPE Fund definition

COPE Fund or “COPE” means the GTFF “Committee on Political Education Fund” and “Committee on Political Education,” respectively.
COPE Fund or “COPE” means the GTFF “Committee on Political Education Fund” and “Committee on Political Education,” respectively. “Day”, “business day,” “work day,” or “working day” means a day when university classes or examinations are scheduled in accordance with the official academic quarter calendar of the University, or in accordance with the official academic semester calendar of any schools and colleges that are not on the quarter system. “Department” means an academic department or other employing unit (such as Xxx Memorial Union) which employs GEs. “Document” means written communication on paper or printed copy of an electronic message. “Familial status” means the relationship between one or more individuals at least one of whom has not attained 18 years of age and who is domiciled with (a) a parent or another person having legal custody of the individual; or (b) the designee of the parent or other person having such custody, with the written permission of the parent of the other person. “Familial status” includes any individual, regardless of age or domicile, who is pregnant or is in the process of securing legal custody of an individual who has not attained 18 years of age. “GE” or “Graduate Employee” means a graduate student appointed at .20 FTE or greater to provide teaching-related duties, research, or administrative duties. “GTFF” or “Union” means the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation at the University of Oregon, American Federation of Teachers, Local #3544, AFL-CIO. “Member” means a public employee who is included in the bargaining unit as defined in Article 1 (Definition of Bargaining Unit).

  • The Employer agrees to deduct from the pay of those members who individually request it voluntary contributions to the SEIU Local 73 COPE Fund.

  • The COPE Fund shall pay compensation to any person who is entitled to compensation for pollution damage under the Fund Convention but who has been unable to obtain full and adequate compensation under that Convention, because the totality of valid claims exceed the amount of compensation available under the Fund Convention.

  • Member States shall ensure that any person who receives contributing oil within its territory in such quantities that he is liable to contribute to the COPE Fund appears on a list to be established and kept up to date by the Commission in accordance with the subsequent provisions of this article.

Related to COPE Fund

  • Sub-Fund means a segregated pool of assets and liabilities into which the Trust Fund is divided, established under the Trust Deed and the relevant supplemental deed as a separate trust as described in the relevant Appendix.

  • Revenue Fund means the fund so designated in, and created pursuant to, Section 502 hereof.

  • New Fund means each of the series portfolios of the Trust, one of which shall correspond to one of the Current Funds as shown on Schedule A.

  • Expense Fund has the meaning set forth in Section 9.14(f).

  • Private Fund means an issuer that would be an investment company as defined in section 3 of the Investment Company Act of 1940 but for Section 3(c)(1) or 3(c)(7) of that Act.

  • Loan Fund means the special fund created by the RECIPIENT for the repayment of the principal of and interest on the loan. “Loan Security” means the mechanism by which the RECIPIENT pledges to repay the loan.

  • Payment Fund has the meaning set forth in Section 2.02(a).

  • Administrative fund means that Fund established by Section 6.1 and administered pursuant to Section 6.9.

  • Pooled Fund means any pooled fund established and maintained by the Partners as a pooled fund in accordance with the Regulations Pooled Fund Manager means such officer of the Host Partner which includes a Section 113 Officer for the relevant Pooled Fund established under an Individual Scheme as is nominated by the Host Partner from time to time to manage the Pooled Fund in accordance with Clause 8.2. Provider means a provider of any Services commissioned under the arrangements set out in this Agreement.

  • Endowment fund means an institutional fund or part thereof that, under the terms of a gift instrument, is not wholly expendable by the institution on a current basis. The term does not include assets that an institution designates as an endowment fund for its own use.

  • Escrow Amount has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(c).

  • Member Account means the regular account and the variable account.

  • Indemnity Escrow Account has the meaning set forth in Section 2.3(c).

  • Principal Funding Account shall have the meaning specified in subsection 4.03(a)(i).

  • Settlement Fund means the Settlement Amount plus any and all interest earned thereon.

  • Program fund means the program fund established under section 12D.4.

  • Escrowed Funds Has the meaning, with respect to any Trust, specified in Section 2.02(b).

  • Escrow Account The Eligible Account or Accounts established and maintained pursuant to Section 3.09(b).

  • Acquisition Fund means any company formed with the intent to offer securities to the public and use the proceeds to consummate one or more Business Combinations which are unspecified at the time of the securities offering.
