Convictions definition

Convictions other than for minor road traffic offences, any previous or pending prosecutions, convictions, cautions and binding over orders (including any spent convictions as contemplated by section 1(1) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 by virtue of the exemptions specified in Part II of Schedule 1 of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exemptions) Order 1975 (SI 1975/1023) or any replacement or amendment to that Order, or is a Barred person in accordance with section 3 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006;

Convictions means other than in relation to minor road traffic offences, any previous or pending prosecutions, convictions, cautions and binding-over orders (including any spent convictions as contemplated by section 1(1) of The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 by virtue of the exemptions specified in Part II of Schedule 1 of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Xxx 0000 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (SI 1975/1023) and the Rehabilitation of Offenders Xxx 0000 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2003 Scottish SI 2003/231) or any replacement or amendment to those Orders)
Convictions for purposes of this requirement include adjudications of guilt, guilty pleas or pleas of no contest or nolo contendre. For each crime listed, the report must provide the date of charge, charge information, degree of charge, date of disposition and disposition. See Citizens’ Applicant Background Review Guide attached hereto as Exhibit C. Citizens may modify the standards stated in the Applicant Background Review Guide in response to changing legal, regulatory or business requirements.
Convictions means convictions imposed by a Court, whether pursuant to a trial or a guilty plea. This excludes convictions by way of the payment of admission of guilt fines.
