Controlled Activities definition

Controlled Activities has the same meaning as set out in the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (and any subsequent amendment or re-enactment thereof);
Controlled Activities means controlled activities as defined in the Commercial Licensing Regulations 2015;

Examples of Controlled Activities in a sentence

  • There will be exhibited prior to and delivered at the Date of Entry evidence that the Drainage System relating to the Property is either registered or licensed with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency or any other appropriate authority under the Water Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2005.

  • In the case of Controlled Activities, the assessment matters shall only apply in respect to conditions that may be imposed on a consent.

  • Authorisation is required under The Water Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 (CAR) to carry out engineering works in or in the vicinity of inland surface waters (other than groundwater) or wetlands.

  • Any of the persons may take (or cause to be taken) any measures that the person considers necessary for ensuring that the works are properly maintained so that they comply with any applicable conditions under the Controlled Activities Regulations.

  • The following shall be Controlled Activities provided they are not listed as a Prohibited, Non-Complying or Discretionary Activity and they comply with all the relevant Site and Zone Standards.

  • DSFBs must comply with relevant Controlled Activities Regulations (CAR).

  • The applicant and prospective developers are advised to contact the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) in respect of The Water Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2005.

  • SEPA is also satisfied with the proposed drainage scheme and considers that it is likely to be consentable under TheWater Environment (Controlled Activities) (Scotland) Regulations 2011 (CAR).

Related to Controlled Activities

  • Permitted Activities The primary activities of the trust created pursuant to this Agreement which shall be:

  • Restricted Activities means those activities described in Section 10 of this Agreement.

  • Funded Activities means the activities set out in Annex 2 of these Conditions; Funding Period means the period for which the Grant is awarded starting on the Commencement Date and ending on [INSERT PROJECT END DATE]; General Data Protection Regulations and GDPR means (Regulation (EU) 2016/679); Grant means the sum or sums the Authority will pay to the Grant Recipient in accordance with paragraph 4 of these Conditions and subject to the provisions set out at paragraph 26.

  • Controlled area means an area, outside of a restricted area but inside the site boundary, access to which can be limited by the licensee or registrant for any reason.

  • Restricted Activity means directly or indirectly owning any interest in, managing, controlling, participating in, consulting with, rendering services for, or in any manner engaging in any business with any customer, supplier, competitor or other person having a business relation with the Company or any of its subsidiaries; provided however that the term "Restricted Activity" shall not include passive ownership of not more than 2% of the outstanding stock of any class of a corporation which is publicly traded, so long as Executive has no active participation in the business of that corporation.

  • Prohibited Activity means any service or activity on behalf of a Competing Business that involves the planning, management, supervision, or providing of services that are similar in nature or purpose to those services Employee provided to the Company within the last 12 months of Employee’s employment with the Company or any other activities that would involve the use or disclosure of Confidential Information.

  • Regulated Activity means any generation, treatment, storage, recycling, transportation, disposal or release of any Hazardous Substances.

  • licensed activity means any activity set out in section 4 of this licence.

  • Activities has the meaning specified in Section 7.02(b).

  • Motor Sport Activities means any motor sport activities or Recreational Services which are permitted or approved which CAMS regulates or administers by CAMS or otherwise under the responsibility / control of CAMS;

  • Competing Activities means the same or similar services as Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd is providing to the Restaurant under this Agreement or other activities having a similar purpose.

  • Service activities means activities in connection with the provision of personal, continuing services to shareholder accounts in the Shares; provided, however, that if the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (“NASD”) adopts a definition of “service fee” for purposes of Section 2830(b)(9) of the NASD Conduct Rules or any successor provision that differs from the definition of “service activities” hereunder, or if the NASD adopts a related interpretive position intended to define the same concept, the definition of “service activities” in this paragraph shall be automatically amended, without further action of the parties, to conform to the then effective NASD definition. Overhead and other expenses related to “distribution activities” or “service activities,” including telephone and other communications expenses, may be included in the information regarding amounts expended for these activities.

  • investment services and activities means any of the services and activities listed in Section A of Annex I relating to any of the instruments listed in Section C of Annex I;

  • controlled airspace means an airspace of defined dimensions within which air traffic control service is provided in accordance with the airspace classification;

  • Covered Activity means any activity in which a Covered Person must be engaged when a Covered Accident occurs in order to be eligible for benefits under the Policy. These Covered Activities are listed in the Schedule of Benefits and described in the Hazards section of the Policy.

  • Medical Affairs Activities means, with respect to any country or other jurisdiction in the Territory, the coordination of medical information requests and field based medical scientific liaisons with respect to Licensed Compounds or Licensed Products, including activities of medical scientific liaisons and the provision of medical information services with respect to a Licensed Compound or Licensed Product.
