Continuous Shift Worker definition

Continuous Shift Worker means an employee who is contracted to work ordinary hours of duty in accordance with a roster where the employee is rostered for afternoon and/or night shift with day shift as defined in Clause 26 - Shiftwork and who may be rostered to work on any of the days of the week that the service operates.

Continuous Shift Worker means work done by an employee where the hours of work are regularly rotated in with a shift roster covering a 24 hour per day operation and where three shifts per day (day, afternoon and night) are worked over a seven day per week.

Continuous Shift Worker means an employee who works a roster and who, over the roster cycle, may be rostered to work ordinary time shifts on any of the seven days of the week; and is regularly rostered to work on Sundays and public holidays.

More Definitions of Continuous Shift Worker

Continuous Shift Worker means an employee who is regularly required to undertake continuous shift work (other than overtime) in accordance with a roster approved by the Controlling Authority concerned.

Continuous Shift Worker. Continuous Shift Worker is defined as an employee whose ordinary hours rotate on a 24/7 continuous basis, e.g. Day Shift, Afternoon Shift and Night Shift rotating continuously over seven (7) days of the week.

Directive means a Queensland Government Directive issued (and as amended) by the Minister for Industrial Relations or the Commission Chief Executive of Public Service Commission in accordance with sections 53 or 54 of the Public Service Act 2008. Director-General means the Chief Executive of each employer covered by this Agreement.

Continuous Shift Worker is an employee who is available to work afternoon and/or night shift with day shift as required by the employer. For the purpose of this definition, fixed shift workers will be included where the employer elects to have permanent fixed shifts.
