Continuous Shift Work definition

Continuous Shift Work means work that is performed by employees where the hours of work are regularly rostered in accordance with a shift roster covering a 24 hour period over a 7 day week.
Continuous Shift Work means work done by separate relays of employees where the hours of work are regularly rotated in accordance with a shift roster covering a 24 hour per day operation over a 7 day week.
Continuous Shift Work means work that is continuous for 24 hours per day for an unbroken period of at least 28 days, except in the case of floods or breakdown or shutting down for holidays.

  • Hours - Other than Continuous Shift Work This subclause shall apply to shift workers not upon continuous work as hereinbefore defined.

  • Employees on Continuous Shift Work will be allowed 60 minutes paid crib time in each day shift and 30 minutes paid crib time in each night shift: Provided that crib time is taken at such time as not to interfere with the continuity of work where continuity is necessary.

  • Where work is performed by Resident Medical Officers on a Continuous Shift Work basis as defined in clause 1.7.3 and the Resident Medical Officers perform their duties in the various shifts allocated in rotation, they will, for each full year of employment that they have been so engaged, be entitled to additional annual leave at the rate of one week each year in respect of the period during which such shifts have been worked.

  • Ordinary hours of work shall be 38 or an average of 38 per week as provided in clause 15, Hours of Work, clause 20, Shifts, and clause 21, Seven-day Continuous Shift Work.
