Continuous Operations definition

Continuous Operations means those functions that are required to operate on a 24- hour per day, 7-day per week basis, and shall include Police, Fire and Public Utilities functions.
Continuous Operations and where other special conditions may apply, the basic work day shall be eight (8) consecutive working hours exclusive of any lunch period, and the basic work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday.
