Continuity Date definition

Continuity Date means the date stated in the Declarations that coverage was first written with respect to the "named insured" and any "subsidiaries" acquired before such date. Any litigation initiated before this date is not subject to coverage under this Coverage Form even if the allegations were not part of a potentially covered claim.

Examples of Continuity Date in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs, Underwriters shall not be liable for that portion of any Damages or Claims Expenses attributable to acts errors, omissions or Covered Media Activities occurring prior to the Continuity Date and/or subsequent to the end of the Policy Period or any Renewal Period.

More Definitions of Continuity Date

Continuity Date means (i) the date stated in Item 7.B. of the Declarations with respect to the Named Insured and any Subsidiaries acquired before the date stated in Item 7.B. of the Declarations; or (ii) with respect to any Subsidiaries acquired after the date stated in Item 7.B. of the Declarations, the date the Named Insured acquired such Subsidiary.
