Continuing Grant definition

Continuing Grant means a type of grant in which NSF agrees to provide a specific level of support for an initial specified period of time, usually a year, with a statement of intent to provide additional support for the project for additional periods, provided funds are available and the results achieved warrant further support.
Continuing Grant means an Option granted to a Non-Employee Director who meets the specified criteria pursuant to subsection 6(b) of the Plan.

Related to Continuing Grant

  • Sub-grant means a grant made or proposed to be made by the Recipient to a Beneficiary out of the proceeds of the Financing for the purpose of financing a Subproject; and “Sub-grants” means more than one such Sub-grant.

  • Annual Grant means an Option granted annually to all Non-Employee Directors who meet the criteria specified in subsection 6(b) of the Plan.

  • Resignation Effective Date has the meaning specified in Section 9.06(a).

  • Change in Control Period means the period beginning three (3) months prior to a Change in Control and ending twelve (12) months following a Change in Control.

  • continuing candidate means any candidate not deemed to be elected, and not excluded,

  • Continuing Contract means a contract for Professional Services entered into in accordance with Section 287.055 of the Florida Statutes, between the District and a firm, whereby the firm provides Professional Services to the District for projects in which the costs do not exceed two million dollars ($2,000,000), for a study activity when the fee for such Professional Services to the District does not exceed two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000), or for work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract with the District, with no time limitation except that the contract must provide a termination clause (for example, a contract for general District engineering services).   • Continuing treatment means ongoing medical treatment or supervision by a health care provider.

  • Change in Control Date means the date on which a Change in Control occurs.

  • Release Effective Date means the date the Release becomes effective and irrevocable.

  • Continuing Arrangements means those arrangements set forth on Schedule 1.1(24) and such other commercial arrangements among the Parties that are intended to survive and continue following the Separation Time; provided, however, that for the avoidance of doubt, Continuing Arrangements shall not be Third Party Agreements.

  • Term SOFR Transition Event means the determination by the Administrative Agent that (a) Term SOFR has been recommended for use by the Relevant Governmental Body, (b) the administration of Term SOFR is administratively feasible for the Administrative Agent and (c) a Benchmark Transition Event or an Early Opt-in Election, as applicable, has previously occurred resulting in a Benchmark Replacement in accordance with Section 2.14 that is not Term SOFR.

  • Potential Change in Control Period shall commence upon the occurrence of a Potential Change in Control and shall lapse upon the occurrence of a Change in Control or, if earlier (i) with respect to a Potential Change in Control occurring pursuant to Section 16.20(A), immediately upon the abandonment or termination of the applicable agreement, (ii) with respect to a Potential Change in Control occurring pursuant to Section 16.20(B), immediately upon a public announcement by the applicable party that such party has abandoned its intention to take or consider taking actions which if consummated would result in a Change in Control, or (iii) with respect to a Potential Change in Control occurring pursuant to Section 16.20(C) or (D), upon the one year anniversary of the occurrence of a Potential Change in Control (or such earlier date as may be determined by the Board).

  • Effective Date of Coverage means the date of commencement of Coverage in respect of a Life Insured under the Policy pursuant to the provision on Commencement of Coverage.

  • Standstill Termination Date means the earlier of (i) the first anniversary of the Board Rights Termination Date and (ii) the later of (A) the third anniversary of this Agreement or (B) the first anniversary of the date on which both the Purchaser Designated Director has resigned from the Board and the Purchaser has permanently waived and renounced the Purchaser’s Board observation rights and Board designation rights in Section 1 and Section 2 of this Agreement.

  • Continuing competence means a requirement, as a condition of license renewal, to provide evidence of participation in, and/or completion of, educational and professional activities relevant to practice or area of work.

  • Forbearance Termination Event has the meaning set forth in Section 3(a) hereto.

  • Continuing care means some or all of the following services:

  • Forbearance Termination Date means the earlier to occur of (i) the closing of a Transaction; (ii) October 31, 2001, or (iii) the date upon which the Forbearance Default occurs.
