Contact time means the amount of moist contact time required for a disinfectant to be effective against the pathogens on the label. Clean items or surfaces must remain completely immersed or visibly wet (sprays, wipes) for full contact time to be effective.

Examples of Contact time in a sentence

  • Student Contact Time A minimum of twenty-seven and one-half (27.5) hours of scheduled time for appointments, group counseling sessions (on and off campus) and/or drop-ins within a regular workweek or other assigned duties; responding to student emails and/or student phone calls which are directly related to student contact time, not to interfere with drop-ins or scheduled appointments.

  • Contact Time With Children - Contact time shall include Audiological evaluations, hearing aid evaluations, and classroom amplification as authorized by the School Boards Director of Exceptional Student Education.
