Completed Calendar Month of Service means a calendar month in which an employee has been in pay status for 88 hours in two consecutive bi- weekly pay periods.
Calendar Month means calendar month according to the Gregorian calendar.
Period of Service means the aggregate of all periods of service commencing with an Employee's first day of employment or reemployment with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer and ending on the first day of a Period of Severance, or for benefit accrual purposes, ending on the severance from service date. The first day of employment or reemployment is the first day the Employee performs an Hour of Service. An Employee who incurs a Period of Severance of twelve (12) months or less will also receive service-spanning credit by treating any such period as a Period of Service for purposes of eligibility and vesting (but not benefit accrual). For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.
Length of Service means total length of time within the Agency. For the purpose of this definition any service prior to a break-in-service with the Agency of more than ninety (90) days shall not be computed in determining length of service. (This will not preclude a reinstatement of a former Agency employee who has been separated from state service for ninety (90) days or less.)
Distribution Calendar Year means a calendar year for which a minimum distribution is required. For distributions beginning before the Participant’s death, the first Distribution Calendar Year is the calendar year immediately preceding the calendar year that contains the Participant’s Required Commencement Date. For distributions beginning after the Participant’s death, the first Distribution Calendar Year is the calendar year in which distributions are required to begin under Subparagraph (a). The required minimum distribution for the Participant’s first Distribution Calendar Year will be made on or before the Participant’s Required Commencement Date. The required minimum distribution for other Distribution Calendar Years, including the required minimum distribution for the Distribution Calendar Year in which the Participant’s Required Commencement Date occurs, will be made on or before December 31 of that Distribution Calendar Year.
Ordinary time earnings means the salary, wage or other remuneration regularly received by the employee in respect of the time worked in ordinary hours and shall include shift work penalties, payments which are made for the purpose of District or Location Allowances or any other rate paid for all purposes of the award to which the employee is entitled for ordinary hours of work. Provided that "ordinary time earnings" shall not include any payment which is for vehicle allowances, fares or travelling time allowances (including payments made for travelling related to distant work), commission or bonus.
Month means calendar month.
Calendar Year means each successive period of twelve (12) months commencing on January 1 and ending on December 31.
Level of service has the meaning set forth in Section 2.02(c).
Twelve-Month Period means a period of twelve consecutive months determined on a rolling basis where a new twelve month period begins on the first day of each calendar month.
Billing Month is defined in Section 9.1(b).
Computation Period means each period of four consecutive Fiscal Quarters ending on the last day of a Fiscal Quarter.
