Comparable Company means global company and deemed by the Calculation Agent to have characteristics comparable to the Companies initially comprising the Reference Portfolio.
Comparable Services means services that are identical or materially similar to the benchmarked Services (including in terms of scope, specification, volume and quality of performance) provided that if no identical or materially similar services exist in the market, the Supplier shall propose an approach for developing a comparable services benchmark;
comparables means information that compares an issuer to other issuers;
Comparable Buildings means the Building and those other life sciences buildings which are comparable to the Building in terms of age (based upon the date of completion of construction or major renovation of to the building), quality of construction, level of services and amenities, size and appearance, and are located in South San Francisco, California and the surrounding commercial area.
Comparable Position means a position where:
Comparable Supply means the supply of Services to another customer of the Supplier that are the same or similar to the Services;
Comparable includes a job with a salary range not more than four grid levels below or one grid level above the employee's original classification. Where this definition is used, an employee shall not utilize the displacement/bumping options to obtain a promotion.
Hotels means the hotel properties described in Exhibit A hereto, as it may be amended from time to time by mutual agreement of Lessee and Operator to add hotel properties or to delete hotel properties as a result of termination of this Agreement with respect to one or more hotel properties pursuant to the termination provisions set forth in this Agreement. “Hotel” shall mean any hotel set forth on Exhibit A as it may be amended from time to time.
Reasonable and prudent parent standard means the
Comparable Rates means rates payable by the Comparison Group for Comparable Services so as to be fair comparable rate with the Framework Prices;
Common Reporting Standard means the standard for automatic exchange of financial account information in tax matters (which includes the Commentaries), developed by the OECD, with G20 countries;
Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry means a mortgage licensing system developed and maintained by the conference of state bank supervisors and the American association of residential mortgage regulators for the licensing and registration of licensed mortgage loan originators.
Commercial real estate means real estate or an interest in real estate that is not any of the following:
Residential real estate means any real property located in this state, upon which is constructed or intended to be constructed a dwelling;
Comparable Treasury Price means, with respect to any redemption date, (1) the average of the Reference Treasury Dealer Quotations for such redemption date, after excluding the highest and lowest Reference Treasury Dealer Quotations, or (2) if the Independent Investment Banker obtains fewer than four such Reference Treasury Dealer Quotations, the average of all such quotations.
Residential living care means a level of service provided by an assisted living facility for adults who may have physical or mental impairments and require only minimal assistance with the activities of daily living. The definition of "residential living care" includes the services provided by independent living facilities that voluntarily become licensed.
Comparable Government Bond means, in relation to any Comparable Government Bond Rate calculation, at the discretion of an independent investment bank selected by us, a German government bond whose maturity is closest to the maturity of the notes to be redeemed, or if such independent investment bank in its discretion determines that such similar bond is not in issue, such other German government bond as such independent investment bank may, with the advice of three brokers of, and/or market makers in, German government bonds selected by us, determine to be appropriate for determining the Comparable Government Bond Rate.
long-term insurance business means the business of providing or undertaking to provide policy benefits under long-term policies, but does not include -
Metropolitan statistical area means any of the metropolitan statistical areas as defined from time to time by the United States Office of Management and Budget.
Outpatient services means those services rendered in a practitioner’s office or in the department of an approved facility where services are rendered to persons who have not had an overnight stay and are not charged for room and board.
Qualified buildings means construction of new structures,
Specialized services means any program or service designed and operated to serve primarily individuals with developmental disabilities, including a program or service provided by an entity licensed or certified by the department. If there is a question as to whether a provider or entity under contract with a provider is providing specialized services, the provider or contract entity may request that the director of the department make a determination. The director's determination is final.
Restricted Services means services of any kind or character comparable to those Executive provided to the Company during the eighteen (18) month period immediately preceding Executive’s last date of employment with the Company.

Downtown area means the business area of a community that is centrally located within the community within the context of the Iowa main street program.
