Comparable Plans definition

Comparable Plans shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.2(c).
Comparable Plans means plans which provide benefits to Affected Participants comparable to those to which such Affected Participants are entitled immediately prior to the Closing.
Comparable Plans is defined in Section 6.13 of the Agreement.

Examples of Comparable Plans in a sentence

  • If, after the Closing, Buyer terminates a Stand-Alone Plan during a contract year and under such Stand-Alone Plan the participant has been responsible for any co-payments or payment of deductible amounts during such contract year, then the Buyer shall use its Reasonable Best Efforts to provide appropriate credit for the Affected Participants under the terms of any Comparable Plans if the Affected Participants begin participation after the beginning of the contract year in the Comparable Plans.

  • Notwithstanding any provisions of the Plan or the Participant's Election Form to the contrary, if the Participant requesting the Liquidating Distribution is, at the time of the request, an active employee of the Employer, then the Participant shall, for a period of two (2) Class Years beginning with the Class Year during which the request for Liquidating Distribution is made, be ineligible to participate in the Plan or any Comparable Plans with respect to any Compensation not yet deferred.

  • The present-value amounts in (i) and (ii) above will be calculated based on the same methods and assumptions used when calculating lump sum amounts under the Employees’ Retirement Income Plan, the Expatriate Pension Plan, the Supplemental Salaried Employees’ Retirement Income Plan or the Comparable Plans, as applicable, inclusive of all subsidized forms of annuities under the Employees’ Retirement Income Plan and the Supplemental Salaried Employees’ Retirement Plan or the Comparable Plans, as applicable.
