Community Benefits definition

Community Benefits has the meaning set forth in Section 4.1.

Community Benefits means those Public Benefits provided by the Project that are generally aligned with the goals and priorities identified in the MOU approved by the City Council, and that exceed the Base Requirements, and are not Project Features.

Examples of Community Benefits in a sentence

  • If any of the modifications, amendments or additions described in Section 5.8 or any changes in Federal or State Laws described thereunder would materially and adversely affect or limit the Community Benefits (a “Law Adverse to the City”), then the City shall notify Developer and propose amendments or solutions that would maintain the benefit of the bargain (that is this Agreement) for both Parties.

  • Prior to obtaining any temporary certificate of occupancy or certificate of occupancy for any portion of the Project, Developer will provide the Community Benefits.

  • The City shall have the right to withhold any site permit until the Recorded Restrictions are recorded against the Project Site and also shall have the right to withhold any temporary certificate of occupancy or certificate of occupancy for any part of the Project until all of the Community Benefits are completed.

  • The City acknowledges and agrees that a number of the Community Benefits would not be otherwise achievable without the express agreement of Developer under this Agreement.

  • Developer acknowledges and agrees that, as a result of the benefits to Developer under this Agreement, Developer has received good and valuable consideration for its provision of the Community Benefits, and the City would not be willing to enter into this Agreement without the Community Benefits.


More Definitions of Community Benefits

Community Benefits means the amenities, benefits, commitments, or promises described in #3.
Community Benefits shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.
Community Benefits means the provision of programs or services that directly benefit Somerville residents including but not limited to human services, the arts, cultural enrichment, sustainability measures, public health, preventing and mitigating commercial and residential displacement, housing, educational programs focused on science, technology, engineering, and other areas of community enrichment.
Community Benefits means the unreimbursed cost to a hospital of providing charity care, government-sponsored indigent health care, donations, education, government-sponsored program services, research, and subsidized health services. Community benefits does not include the cost to the hospital of paying any taxes or other governmental assessments.
Community Benefits means those project elements which will mitigate impacts of greater heights or greater density or modifications to special district development standards. Examples of community benefits include affordable housing, open space, parks, right-of-way improvements, financial contributions to existing community amenities or public uses, and facilities that enhance the pedestrian experience and/or improve multimodal transportation.
Community Benefits means the community benefits for the Kaipara community as set out and described in Schedule 1 to be achieved by the Organisation by entering into this Agreement and undertaking the Permitted Use.
Community Benefits shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in the Recitals.
