Communications Statutes definition

Communications Statutes means the Telecommunications Act, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Act (Canada), the Radiocommunication Act, the Broadcasting Act or other statutes of Canada specifically relating to the regulation of the Canadian telecommunications industry (including for this purpose the orders, rules, regulations, directives, decisions, notices and policies promulgated pursuant to such statutes, including the Radiocommunication Regulations (Canada) (the “Radiocommunication Regulations”), the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations (Canada), the Canadian Telecommunications Common Carrier Ownership and Control Regulations (the “Ownership Regulations”) and the Direction to the CRTC (Ineligibility of Non-Canadians) (the “CRTC Direction”) and applicable statutes or regulations, if any, of any province of Canada specifically relating to the regulation of the Canadian telecommunications industry and the orders, rules, regulations, directives, decisions, notices and policies promulgated thereunder;
Communications Statutes shall have the meaning set forth in Section 1(a)(xxv) hereof.
Communications Statutes means the Telecommunications Act (Canada), the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Act (Canada), the Competition Act (Canada) or other statutes of Canada specifically relating to the regulation of the Canadian telecommunications industry (including for this purpose the orders, rules, regulations, directives, decisions, notices and policies promulgated pursuant to such statutes, including the Radiocommunication Regulations (Canada) and the Canadian Telecommunications Common Carrier Ownership and Control Regulations and applicable statues or regulations, if any, of any province of Canada specifically relating to the regulation of the Canadian telecommunications industry and the orders, rules, regulations, directives, decisions, notices and policies promulgated thereunder.
