Communications Hub definition

Communications Hub or "Comms Hub" means: (a) devices (including any HAN module and/or SMWAN modules) installed within Consumer Premises with the purpose of providing connectivity between the SMWAN provided by the relevant CSP and the Home Area Network; (b) any auxiliary equipment (including aerials) used to connect the relevant device referred to in paragraph (a) to the SMWAN; (c) (unless the context otherwise requires) any equipment and/or part(s) that are to remain physically connected to the relevant device referred to in paragraph (a)for the purposes of physically connecting it to any part of: (i) any Consumer Premises; (ii) any Smart Meter and/or (iii) any other HAN module; and (d) any Gas Proxy associated with the relevant device referred to in paragraph (a);
Communications Hub means a physical device that includes a Communications Hub Function together with a Gas Proxy Function; save that, when such expression is used in relation to the following provisions, such expression shall be interpreted in accordance with the definition of that expression in the DCC Licence:
Communications Hub means APIs provided on top of OmniPCX platforms like OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE), OXO Connect (OXO), Open Touch (OT), Open Touch Enterprise Cloud (OTEC), Smart Deskphone 8088. Communications Hub shall have the meaning provided in Section 2.4(f) hereof.

Communications Hub means, in respect of a Valid Communications Hub Products Order, the Communications Hubs of the applicable Device Models that are the subject of that order and/or the Communications Hub Auxiliary Equipment that is the subject of that order. Communications Hub Technical Specification means the document(s) of that name set out in Schedule [TBC]. Competent Authority means the Secretary of State, the Authority, and any local or regional or national agency, authority, department, inspectorate, minister, ministry, official or public or statutory person (whether autonomous or not) of the government of the United Kingdom or of the European Union (but only insofar as each has jurisdiction over the relevant Party, this Code or its subject matter).
Communications Hub means a device installed at a Retail Energy Location with one or more Smart Meters whose purpose is to manage communications to and from the meters, as further described in the Smart Energy Code. Competent Authority means the Authority, and any local, regional, national or supra-national agency, authority, department, inspectorate, minister, ministry, official or public or statutory person having (in each case) jurisdiction over the relevant Party, this Code or its subject matter. Term Acronym Definition Completed is a Registration Request Status indicating that the Registration Request has become effective.
